A couple of months or so ago I created this game where I had you pair up each of the most common first name (across all age groups and both genders) for each initial letter with the most common last name (same rule) in the U.S., stats according to mynamestats.com. Since a lot of the first names in play sound dated to modern ears (which also goes to show how much more diverse naming is now then for example when the baby boomers were being born - there are a lot of names popular from that generation on the list), I decided to create a second version of the game with more modern-sounding names - this time with the most common first name for each initial letter according to the most recent SSA stats available (2016) with both genders combined.
