Based on people I know I would have to go with the nAmes Ursina (a high school friend) and [name_f]Senga[/name_f] (a recent work acquaintance)
Nexus. Heard it in the park yesterday!
I knew of, but did not know personally, a really delightful girl my age (mid-twenties) named [name_f]Ursula[/name_f]. I know it’s a legitimate name, but it must have been tough growing up in the [name_m]Little[/name_m] Mermaid era. She definitely helped me come around on liking the name.
I once worked with a woman by the name of Vone (rhymes with phone). Of course my curiosity got the better of me and I asked her about it. She said it was a family name of many generations.
Oh, another one I just remembered…a former boss of mine was of Welsh heritage and his wife had a baby and they named her Lloy (like [name_m]Lloyd[/name_m] without the “d”).
Not someone I know personally, but one of the automotive program guys at my school is named Aryn (probably pronounced like are-in). I think it’s pretty neat, and that name isn’t even listed on this site.

Aquanetta or Tonjuwua
A kid in my class is named Deionnahmed. His brother and sister are consequently named, Deionnovan and Deionnisha
The craziest name I’ve ever come across was this little boy in my sister’s preschool class named Grody. No joke. I’m guessing his parents’ logic went somewhere along the lines of “Hey, if [name_u]Grady[/name_u], [name_u]Brady[/name_u], and [name_m]Brody[/name_m] are all perfectly fine names, why not Grody?”
As for unusual girls’ names, there was a girl at my old school named Embree (needless to say in bio there were plenty of “embryo” and “yo mama” jokes made
). Also, my dad’s colleague named her daughter [name_f]Siri[/name_f] before the original iPhone even came out. I don’t know how that worked out, but I imagine she gets a lot of “Hey, [name_f]Siri[/name_f]!” greetings.
The oddest name I’ve ever heard that I can think of at the moment is Heckley. Poor boy.
There is a little girl who is a family member’s friend’s daughter is named Vanilla. I also just met a girl named [name_f]Star[/name_f].
The oddest name I’ve ever come across in real life is Heimd@ll. And he’s a cousin of mine. It’s grown on me but I am reminded it’s an odd one whenever I see people’s reaction to it upon hearing it for the first time. And yes, it’s after the comic book character.
Most unusual name I have ever heard is - Bookertee.
Iceson and Appolina.
I met a girl named [name_f]Eartha[/name_f] and another named [name_m]Talbott[/name_m].
