Of the ones you listed, I think the three most usable are:

That being said, those aren’t necessarily my three favorites. If I had to pick favorites regardless of usability, they would be:

[name_f]Jewel[/name_f] (ok, so this one gets both votes)

[name_u]Scout[/name_u] (solely because To Kill a Mockingbird gives it widely known precedence)

Runners up: [name_u]Bliss[/name_u] and [name_u]Clove[/name_u]

I think [name_u]Chase[/name_u], [name_f]Jewel[/name_f], and [name_u]Scout[/name_u] are the most usable. My personal favorites are [name_u]Scout[/name_u], [name_u]Storm[/name_u], and [name_u]Cloud[/name_u]. I also like [name_u]Reign[/name_u] when it comes to the sound – I’d use [name_u]Rain[/name_u] instead. I love [name_u]Dream[/name_u] but I’d only use it as a middle name.

I also love [name_f]Flair[/name_f] and [name_u]Peace[/name_u]. [name_f]Maine[/name_f], too, but I live in [name_f]Maine[/name_f] so it seems unusable to me. I always thought it would be cool to name a girl [name_f]Maine[/name_f] and give her an E middle name then her nickname could be ME ([name_f]Emmy[/name_f]) which is the abbreviation for [name_f]Maine[/name_f].

Any name can be usable if you use it lol! I’m a HUGE fan of word names (esp nature/virtue), so I’m all about this list!! If I had to settle, I’d pick:

[name_u]Finch[/name_u]
[name_f]Jewel[/name_f] (or [name_f]Bijou[/name_f], the [name_m]French[/name_m] word for jewel, pronounce bee-zhoo like in beige)
[name_u]Truth[/name_u] (or [name_f]Verity[/name_f], meaning truth)

BUT my absolute favorite dream name from this list is [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] :wink:

Can I suggest [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]? Also a word name with a lovely meaning, but still comes across as a name. Of the choices my favourite is [name_u]Scout[/name_u] - due to “To Kill a Mockingbird”.

If I should pick 3, I would say: [name_u]Bliss[/name_u], [name_f]Mauve[/name_f] and [name_f]Jewel[/name_f] or [name_u]Clove[/name_u]!
I like [name_f]Verve[/name_f], [name_f]Earth[/name_f] and [name_f]Flair[/name_f], not sure if they are usable.

I would consider these three the most usable for a girl:

[name_f]Jewel[/name_f] (familiar to people because of the singer)
[name_u]Scout[/name_u] (familiar to people from To Kill a Mockingbird)

If I heard these names I’d probably assume boy first:

[name_u]Finch[/name_u]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u]
[name_u]North[/name_u]
[name_u]Reign[/name_u] (unless spelled [name_u]Rain[/name_u], then I’d assume girl)

Regarding your favorites…

[name_u]March[/name_u] - I think this is cute and I could see this on a little girl. I’d probably assume it was a family name or something but it is cute!
[name_u]Truth[/name_u] - I can see the appeal of the sound of this but I think it is a heavy name to put on someone. :slight_smile:
[name_u]Finch[/name_u] - This one is just ok to me. Sounds kind of harsh.
