I voted for [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Clark[/name_m] and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
I voted for [name_m]Clark[/name_m] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m]
I like [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] but I think a lot of little [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]'s end up with the nn [name_u]Ollie[/name_u]
I also like [name_m]Cole[/name_m] but maybe it doesnt go with your last name?
Thank you!
Re [name_u]Ollie[/name_u], good point!
Re [name_m]Cole[/name_m]: It’s good to know I’m not reading too much into the punny-ness of [name_m]Cole[/name_m]+color last name… Some others have suggested I’m overthinking it and that it is not obvious.
I love the name, and I picture calling my boy [name_m]Cole[/name_m], … But I don’t think I would ever not feel guilty/a bit ashamed of giving my kid a punny name. Like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] Blushing or [name_f]Violette[/name_f] Flowers or [name_f]Ebony[/name_f] Noir.
I mean you probably are overthinking it but I would be exactly the same!
Our last name is [name_u]North[/name_u] so I have written off using names such as [name_u]Grey[/name_u] or [name_u]Winter[/name_u] (both I love) just too wordy and a little depressing with our last name imo haha
Those are all so good you need to make a shorter list of your favs because it’s too hard to pick! For originality I like [name_m]Clark[/name_m] and [name_m]Leon[/name_m].
Oh gosh I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Clark[/name_m], but assuming your last name also ends in K, it might be a bit too heavy together? I also voted for [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m], which provide a little more aural balance.
Thank you! Our last name is g r a y… I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] clark, but im hesitant about the k and g back to back. What do you think?
I really like [name_m]Leon[/name_m] with big sister [name_f]Tess[/name_f]@ and last name G r e y
I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_m]Leon[/name_m] with the name of his big sister! [name_m]Leon[/name_m] is a bit more unexpected which I really like but I also love the sound of [name_m]Leo[/name_m].
I really like [name_m]Clark[/name_m]. I don’t think that it clashes with your last name.
Monosyllabic first and last names together are often memorable and effective. I wouldn’t let that possibility dissuade you from using a name you love. As others have pointed out, though, you just need to make sure the combination of first name and color last name doesn’t have a double meaning.
I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m] best from you list of suggestions. It’s not monosyllabic (but neither is your daughter’s full name) but I think it flows really well with your last name and your daughter’s name.
Thank you everyone! Appreciated everyone who has voted, and commented! In comments, Im seeing [name_m]Clark[/name_m] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as front runners.
I don’t love the name [name_m]Henry[/name_m] like the others, but it keeps hanging around the bottom of my list. Weird.
