Munro?

Still no baby! I’m 2 days overdue and feeling like a whale, but there have been absolutely no signs of bub just yet.

[name]Just[/name] wondering what you think of [name]Munro[/name]?

I asked my sister to give me some name suggestions and this one was on top… I see it as a different name to [name]Monroe[/name], but essentially it is the same…sadly. It is also very similar to [name]Margot[/name] which was my first reason for not choosing [name]Marlon[/name]. I think I’m just attracted to M names with O sounds in them! Anyway, it just caught my eye so I’d love to know what you think.

[name]Munro[/name] does come across as a creative spelling of [name]Monroe[/name]. If you like the long O ending sound, what about:

[name]Arlo[/name], [name]Leo[/name], [name]Jethro[/name], [name]Otto[/name], [name]Alonzo[/name], [name]Bruno[/name], [name]Enzo[/name], [name]Hugo[/name], Viggio

I prefer just [name]Monroe[/name]. [name]Love[/name] paw’s suggestions of [name]Leo[/name], [name]Otto[/name] and [name]Hugo[/name] and I will add Leto. (le-to)

I actually like [name]Munro[/name]. Seems very Scottish to me. I like it written more than spoken.

Bugsy is a tough act to follow! Bugsy and…

[name]Lloyd[/name]
[name]Floyd[/name]
[name]Clyde[/name]
[name]Dean[/name]
[name]Guy[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name]
[name]Claude[/name] (Bugs [name]Bunny[/name] & [name]Claude[/name] the [name]Cat[/name]?)
[name]Walter[/name]
[name]Alvin[/name]
[name]Marvin[/name]

I like [name]Munro[/name] but it’s a name for a hill were I come from ([name]Scotland[/name]), it’s also a last name. I think it looks a lot more masculine than [name]Monroe[/name].

any way you spell it, I think it is TERRIBLE. Sorry. I think Paw had some cute suggestions.

It makes me think of [name]Captain[/name] [name]Munro[/name] [name]Kelly[/name] from the book/movie [name]Congo[/name]. But I like it. =]

I agree with this.
