Musical Names

My son is [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] (after [name_m]Mozart[/name_m], my father and Bizet), my daughter [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], we’re going to change her name to the musical [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] and her middle will continue to be [name_f]Callas[/name_f] after [name_f]Maria[/name_f] [name_f]Callas[/name_f], the most amazing soprano ever, in my humble opinion. Since we decided on [name_f]Angelina[/name_f], it discards some of the names I have on my list: [name_f]Carmina[/name_f], [name_f]Florina[/name_f], [name_f]Pamina[/name_f]…

I love names that are feminine, dramatic in a way and feel operatic. I would love some new suggestions. Some names I’ve been throwing around are [name_f]Mireille[/name_f], [name_f]Mirella[/name_f] and [name_f]Indira[/name_f], but so far my husband isn’t a huge fan of any. He continues to have eyes only for his favorite set of names: [name_f]Eurydice[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Celine[/name_f], [name_f]Clarice[/name_f] etc. All of which I find perhaps too similar in style and sound to [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], which we have decided to let go of. I don’t want to make the same mistake again of choosing the wrong name for my baby. That being said, we really need some help!

The musical names can be opera characters, famous musicians, musical terms such as [name_f]Aria[/name_f] or [name_f]Allegra[/name_f], names of songs (preferably classic, folk or blues)…
