I just thought I’d share these with those who like names.
When we first found out he was a boy she suggested “[name]Baby[/name] [name]Sister[/name].” A little disappointed?
Later that day and for a few weeks she was going to call him Scar. From [name]Lion[/name] [name]King[/name]. (We saw the live show in [name]December[/name] so it’s been on her mind.)
Then she decided his name will be [name]Simba[/name]. Whatever we name him that’s what she’ll call him and that has evolved to [name]Simba[/name] Bimba.
Somewhere in here she also came up with the name Skyatt. Like [name]Sky[/name] + [name]Wyatt[/name]. [name]Wyatt[/name] was the “boy” name we had for if she had been a boy but I do not know where it came from! It’s kind of cool as made up names go.
At least someone has some ideas…we are 2-4 weeks out from actually having this baby and don’t have a name yet!
Our daughter (2.5) is set on calling the baby [name]Rainbow[/name]. [name]Every[/name] time we suggest we call the baby something else she starts to cry and says, “No the baby’s name is [name]Rainbow[/name]!!!”. I’m having my mom embroider a onesie with a rainbow on it. Hopefully when our little girl gets here in 6 weeks she’ll be ok with whatever we name her!
[name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Simba[/name] would actually be pretty cool. Really, it would.
When I was younger I wanted to name my little sister Fizz [name]Lovely[/name] [name]Princess[/name] [name]Bryony[/name], apparently! She ended up being boring old [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Rose[/name]!
Our daughter has referred to “the baby” - even before we were actually pregnant - as Sword. Then once we found out we were having a boy, she suggested [name]Ferdinand[/name] and has been calling him that ever since. We’ve referred to him that way on occasion even though we haven’t chosen a name yet.
So sweet! My daughter isn’t even a year and a half yet, so I’m not sure how much she understands about her little brother, but she calls him “Gichael” right now. I look forward to what she might come up with in the next few months. And I just have to say mobaki, [name]Aria[/name] and [name]Ferdinand[/name] is super adorable!
I love these!! My friend’s 3yo called her baby brother “Fuzzy.” And we’ve tried having her think about our name list but she doesn’t see the point since his name is [name]Simba[/name].
