She suits it perfectly and although both her grandmothers dislike it so far, we don’t care!

I love it - one Grandma is coming around but the other is deliberately avoiding calling her anything. She just keeps saying ‘the baby’…
I don’t care, which means I must like it!
It’s my Mum who is not coming around, she said to me - she will have trouble with the pronounciation/spelling for the rest of her life. So I reminded her that she named my sister [name]Alys[/name] (pronounced [name]Alice[/name]) and she has been dealing with the same thing all her life…
I did consider spelling it differently but I would rather be true to the French name than invent something or use the Fifth Element spelling
