Due to an unexpected partial placental abruption at 29 weeks, I had a csection on [name]January[/name] 24th to deliver my beautiful daughter, [name]Eliora[/name] [name]Cosette[/name]. [name]Eliora[/name] means “God is my light” and [name]Cosette[/name] means “little thing”, she is the tiniest thing I have ever seen, weighing 2lb 4oz. She was on the vent for about 22-23 hours, skipped CPAP and is now on nasal cannula, so her lungs aren’t too bad. She’s currently stable and the doctors say to expect anywhere between 8 and 13 weeks of NICU time, depending on how quickly she gains weight and is able to breathe/eat on her own, but ill continue with updates when I have more time!
Congrats to you [name]Adair[/name] on the safe arrival of your “little girl”, [name]Eliora[/name] [name]Cosette[/name]. Her name certainly suits the circumstances of her birth. My prayers are sent to you with the hope she gains strength quickly so she can go home very soon. Your daughter sounds like a fighter. You go girl!
Congratulations! I wish she could have waited a bit longer, but I’m so glad she’s doing well. I completely agree with mischa. A beautiful, fitting name for your sweet little girl. Congratulations again and I wish you the best of luck!
Congratulations on your beautiful little [name]Eliora[/name] [name]Cosette[/name]. What a beautiful name too! Keeping her in my prayers for a speedy weight gain & good health!
Congratulations! [name]Eliora[/name] [name]Cosette[/name] is just lovely. I’m sorry to hear about the complications, but it sounds like she’s a little fighter! I hope her stay in the NICU is short, and she’ll be in my prayers.
I wondered how you’d gone after your recent post about complications.
Sounds like even though [name]Eliora[/name] was born premmie she is strong.
Very sweet name with a lovely meaning.
Congratulations on the arrival of your dear little miracle. Sorry to hear these complications occurred, and I do hope she continues to gain strength. [name]Eliora[/name] [name]Cosette[/name] is not only a very pretty name but also very fitting. Best wishes to you both!
Thank you all for your well-wishes. [name]Little[/name] [name]Elle[/name] is certainly a fighter! She’s still in an isolette and having some apnea/bradys and sometimes periodic breathing. Otherwise, she has no major health problems. She has a multitude of nicknames right now, as we cannot decide what to call her! She’s [name]Eliora[/name], [name]Ellie[/name], [name]Elle[/name], [name]Lio[/name], [name]Lily[/name], [name]Ellie[/name] [name]Cosette[/name], [name]Cosette[/name]…I’m favoring [name]Elle[/name] right now, but well see!
Thanks again
