I didn’t really think I could either, but then I was thinking of all the meaningful connections I have to it, and it’s changing my mind? [name_f][/name_f] As a [name_m]Christian[/name_m], it doesn’t sit right with me to use the name of a god or goddess I don’t believe in over honoring the [name_m]God[/name_m] I do believe in, unless I had an alternate reason to do so (like Iris—ties to a goddess, but also my grandmother’s favorite flower and would be used in her honor due to the ties to the flower!). [name_f][/name_f] But he keeps making me think of [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m], whom my sister and I love (we read a new one of his plays every Ides of [name_m]March[/name_m] hahahaha, and we just got back from seeing a play in [name_f]Boston[/name_f] in the commons (they do a free [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] in the common thing every summer, it’s amazing!). [name_f][/name_f] And [name_m]Jove[/name_m] reminds me of [name_f]Jupiter[/name_f] which reminds me of my love of astronomy I developed when my dad would point out constellations to me as a kid! [name_f][/name_f] And then I thought about the similarity visually between [name_m]Jove[/name_m] and my dad’s name (which is so overused in my family tree, not too interested in passing it down in its original form tbh lol). [name_f][/name_f] And suddenly it feels really special! [name_f][/name_f] Idk, we’ll see with time. [name_f][/name_f] But I do like [name_m]Lorcan[/name_m] [name_m]Jove[/name_m] today a lot!
