I’ve been away from my favourites for months, and now I’m not sure how I’m feeling about any of my top boys names - other than [name]Maxim[/name], which I still love. I still like [name]Leighton[/name] and want to keep it as a middle name due to it’s family significance. I do also still love [name]Roman[/name] and [name]Felix[/name], but I’m just not certain about them. And I’m toying with the idea of [name]Leo[/name] as a first name, but the popularity is putting me off (rose to #27 last year!).
Anyone got any suggestions/help for me? My previous top 6 is in my signature.
I think it’s great that you are keeping [name]Leighton[/name] because of it’s family significance even as a mn - maybe particularly as a mn.
You signature shows that there are more than just your top six boys names that you have loved in the past since you have each listed with two mns. With [name]Leo[/name] rising to your choices for first names (I can see how this is becoming too popular for you, I’d be in the same boat) have you considered reevaluating the oder of each name? Or changing up the combos?
[name]Everett[/name] [name]Phoenix[/name] [name]Grey[/name] or [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Leighton[/name] [name]Fox[/name] would be two great alternatives.
Otherwise it might help to figure out why you are falling out of love. Have you just been looking at these combo’s too long without having someone to name? Has your taste in sound changed? Would you prefer an alternative to the name (i.e.: [name]Maxim[/name] -> [name]Maximus[/name]/[name]Maximilian[/name]) so you feel refreshed by the name although it is very similar?
