So my husband and I have been discussing ttc. We still haven’t decided on timing but we have been talking names…well I have been and he has been forced to listen. I’m not sure of “our” style although he has vetoed a lot of my favorites. We have a very short list for boys names because he has vetoed lots of the ones I like and we are left with:
[name]Grady[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Nash[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]*(my current favorite, not his…but still in the running)
I really like the name [name]Joseph[/name]. It’d be top of my list if DH’s uncle wasn’t named [name]Joseph[/name]! Out of your choices, my favourite is [name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]. By the way, I think you’ll find when you actually get pregnant, your husband will probably be a lot more into discussing names. My husband and I have had a couple of brief conversations and one longer conversation where he actually made some contributions. But, for now, we’re not discussing names until I see two pink lines on a pregnancy test! I think men don’t really get too into the naming process until they know there’s an actual human being on the way! At least, I’m hoping this is the case
1 [name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] - [name]Wyatt[/name] is the most versatile name because it goes well with many different styles.
2 [name]Grady[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] - Ok but along with [name]Brady[/name] and [name]Brody[/name], it’s trendy.
3 [name]Nash[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] - this combo doesn’t flow well. [name]Nash[/name] reminds me of the phrase word " gnash/grind your teeth together" as well as [name]Nash[/name] disease. I think you should look up the definition of “nash” because some of the modern usage may cause teasing.
