My brutally honest opinions about your names / combos

Inspired by @coolauntieviolet. I will try to be as honest as possible, but I will search the positive sides of each name - however if I think there is some downfall I will say those too! Both pros and cons.

Gilbert Maple and Willem Frost are very beautiful, storybook-like, very whimsically nature-ish. The first names are vintagely charming and handsome, and I imagine two boys who are a bit mischievous but very smart and who like reading, and running near the sea, or eating apples in the fields, running through meadows and golden camps, a bit like Anne with Green Gables Avonlea island imagery or like “Tom Sawyer” or other children books. They wear simple cotton clothing or something that feels very 18th-20 century-ish. Maybe a bit too storybook-ish, but it is not a bad thing! So beautiful, vintage-old fashioned, past century whimsical names. Whimsically dreamy!

Sylvie Joy has a mori-kei (“forest style”) charm. Very forest cottagecore (if this aesthetic exists?), somehow whimsical, very calm, and classic yet spunky. Not modern, not vintage, perfect for everyone. Reminds me of those French fairytales and of beige and dark green bohémien dresses (search the Japanese mori-kei style!) It is simple, petite and tailored, very elegant yet sweet. Reminds me of Lucy Pevensie or a girl that will always smiles. The only cons… Sylvie is considered a Boomer name in France, but if you do not live in France it is great :sparkles::evergreen_tree: I like Sylvie too!

Edmund Baker is charming and cool! Very old vintage British vibe of, but also somehow classic, yet suits on a modern child (Baker and Edmund are somehow suitting the latest trends in English speaking countries, the modern surname trend and the vintage boy name trend). I love Edmund, it has a great nickname! Eddie is so simple yet fun, and Moon is somehow feminine (if you are a fan of it it is great!) but so bohémien artsy. There is also Ned and Ted which I like too, and Teddy is sweet and cottagecorey vintage darling!
Edmund reminds me of Narnia too, and is very childhood book feeling as well, but it is also such a dignified name that will suit every age, from Grandpa Ted to your little son Eddie. It also feels very academia to me, very smart and educated vibe. I love this smart adademia vibe!
Baker feels spunky yet somehow cool. Edmund Baker gives me the vibe of a British teen, who likes collecting leaves, has a lot of friends, goes for adventures, writes stories, and also feels like the boy next door in a book! I love the combo.

Your taste feels very storybook, old fashioned Canadian / British, yet also very nextdoor and cottagecore / forest vibe, and also a bit royalcore. I see Willem as a very European royalcore (in a good way!) name and Edmund as a name suitting for English royals, and Sylvie feels like a forest princess. Gilbert feels like a prince from fairytales too. Great style !

[name_m]Martin[/name_m] [name_u]Douglas[/name_u] [name_u]George[/name_u]

Augusta Esme Bly

Nothing bad with this name. I cannot see anything objectively bad with it. [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] is a proud and strong name and I like it too. I think that we have a similae name style? But I wouldn’t dispose the names in this order, perhaps. I would do something grander or even more eccentric (it is just me though)

Daphnis Holden Blythe

I like [name_u]Holden[/name_u]! [name_m]Daphnis[/name_m] I prefer it as a middle and I feel like this combo feels very gender neutral and modern? But also has a light academia / cottagecore vibe!

Lysander Elliott Valentine

I prefer [name_m]Valentin[/name_m] in this combo, but this name is proud and novel-ish!

Clelia Thessaly March

[name_f]Clelia[/name_f] is a grand name. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Clelia[/name_f]. Operatic and full of personality, something that I would use. [name_u]March[/name_u] and [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] balance it very well and make it feel spunky and with flair.

If I had to choose one name from your combos… [name_f]Augusta[/name_f], [name_u]Holden[/name_u], Elliott/Valentin + [name_f]Clelia[/name_f].
