My combo vs hubby's combo, which is better?

My husband loves video games and I love Spanish/Italian names as well as [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] names because those are my all time favorite books. If you can’t tell, we are both pretty nerdy! I think we’ve both settled on the first name [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] “[name_m]Leo[/name_m]” for a boy but are struggling with middle names.

His pick: [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] [name_u]Falcon[/name_u] ([name_u]Falcon[/name_u] being a video game character)

My pick: [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] (of course there’s an obscure [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] reference there)

I could use some outside thoughts and opinions on these choices! Or any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much!

Well, I’m a little biased by my intense love for [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] as well so I go with combo #2- [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u].

Also, I just like the name [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] better than [name_u]Falcon[/name_u].

I’m probably no help, because if it were me, I’d go with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Falcon[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]. You’re planning to call him [name_m]Leo[/name_m] anyway, so why not use the same number of syllables to use all the names loved by both Mom and Dad? I think it’s pretty awesome repeating the F sounds and Ns in the two middles, and the EE sound from the first and third names.

If I HAD to choose just one middle, I’d go with [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] [name_u]Falcon[/name_u], because I don’t like the repeat EEON/EEN sounds right next to each other as in [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] – there isn’t enough variety of other sounds in the combo to keep you from feeling like you’re saying EE all the time (even the I is pronounced with your mouth in the same position as the EE part). Plus, [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] could possibly be used as a first name for a little brother further on down the line, but [name_u]Falcon[/name_u] would be tough to use as a first name.

[name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] would be my first choice but I don’t think [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] [name_u]Falcon[/name_u] is bad. I just prefer [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] over [name_u]Falcon[/name_u] in general.

I love the name [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] and have loved it for a long time, but with the first name I would pick [name_u]Falcon[/name_u] because, as someone already states, the repetitive EE sound at the beginning of both for the [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] combo

[name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] [name_u]Falcon[/name_u]!

Neither. I dislike both.

Not much difference, but most boys would prefer [name_u]Falcon[/name_u], I expect.
