Before any of you comment “I thought you had already selected a name for your second child”. Please let me explain myself. My Husband and I are still planning on naming our newest edition to the family, [name]January[/name] [name]Lucia[/name] or [name]Hudson[/name] [name]James[/name] (we don’t know the sex of the baby).

However, I have baby name fever. And I always get this way when I’m pregnant.

Last night my Husband and I sat at the dinner table and talked. I asked him if he wanted to have more children after this one. And he said yes, which is totally fine with me. After that we started talking about baby names and what would we like to use if we had another one.

Girls:

  1. [name]Elena[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name] (We adore [name]Elena[/name], but would it be weird if we used [name]Seraphina[/name]? My Daughter’s name is [name]Violet[/name].)
  2. [name]Mae[/name] [name]Florentina[/name] (My Husband likes the middle name a lot, but it reminds me of eggs florentine.)
  3. [name]Kennedy[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] (I’ve always loved the name [name]Kennedy[/name]. Please don’t hate me!)
  4. [name]Francesca[/name] [name]Mabel[/name] (My Husbands favorite middle for [name]Francesca[/name])
  5. [name]Francesca[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] (My favorite middle name for [name]Francesca[/name])

Boys:

  1. [name]Max[/name] [name]Leonardo[/name] (We both love this name combo)
  2. [name]Cameron[/name] [name]Matteo[/name]
  3. [name]Dominic[/name] [name]Leonardo[/name]

I know that we have more girl names than boy names. Please let me know what you think.

  1. [name]Elena[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name] - [name]Elena[/name] is a little frilly compared to [name]January[/name] but it’s not a deal breaker if you and your DH love the name. I like both names but there are a lot of a’s in the combo. Would you consider [name]Elena[/name] [name]Seraphine[/name] (the French version of the name)? Since [name]Seraphina[/name] is in the middle spot, I don’t think it would it be issue to have fn [name]Violet[/name] and mn [name]Seraphina[/name]. Only family and close friends usually know the mn anyway). I think I like this name the best with [name]January[/name].

  2. [name]Mae[/name] [name]Florentina[/name] - I like the combo but then you would have [name]January[/name] and [name]Mae[/name] as siblings.

  3. [name]Kennedy[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] - [name]January[/name] and [name]Kennedy[/name] are matchy in sound. Sorry but I’m not a fan of trendy [name]Kennedy[/name].

  4. [name]Francesca[/name] [name]Mabel[/name] - The solid [name]Mabel[/name] balances out the more frilly [name]Francesca[/name]. I prefer [name]Frances[/name] but even then [name]Jan[/name] and [name]Fran[/name] aren’t ideal for siblings.

  5. [name]Francesca[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] - Very frilly combo. Sounds good though. Again, the sisters would be [name]JANuary[/name] and [name]FRANcesca[/name].

Boys:

  1. [name]Max[/name] [name]Leonardo[/name] - The combo flows well.

  2. [name]Cameron[/name] [name]Matteo[/name] - [name]Hudson[/name] and [name]Cameron[/name] are matchy in sound. I don’t like the flow of this combo (m’s and the r).

  3. [name]Dominic[/name] [name]Leonardo[/name] - Heavy on the syllables. What about [name]Dominic[/name] [name]Leo[/name]? [name]Leo[/name] can stand on its own.

[name]Francesca[/name] [name]Mabel[/name] is gorgeous, my favourite. [name]Max[/name] [name]Leonardo[/name] is great too. I do love [name]Matteo[/name], and would love to see the combo [name]Matteo[/name] [name]Dominic[/name].

[name]Mae[/name] [name]Florentina[/name] is beautiful and my second favourite.

[name]Francesca[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] - I love [name]Noelle[/name] and [name]Francesca[/name] is nice

[name]Max[/name] [name]Leonardo[/name] - combo works but it reminds me of [name]Max[/name] Lucado the writer which is a bit weird
[name]Cameron[/name] [name]Matteo[/name] - love [name]Matteo[/name], not so much [name]Cameron[/name]
[name]Dominic[/name] [name]Leonardo[/name] - What about [name]Dominic[/name] [name]Matteo[/name]?

I adore [name]Elena[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name]! It’s on my long list as well. I think it’s lovely how [name]Violet[/name] and her would share -ina endings in their middle names.
I also like [name]Francesca[/name] [name]Noelle[/name], and [name]Cameron[/name] [name]Matteo[/name] is awesome! The rest I’m not a fan of. :frowning:
