Mirre - It’s OK but hard to spell/prn. I’d prefer [name]Mira[/name]/[name]Miriam[/name]/[name]Mirabelle[/name] (nn Mirre?)
[name]Maya[/name] - a nice name. I like it more than [name]Mia[/name], but they’re quite similar.
[name]Luz[/name] - I think this is gorgeous but it does sound like “loose” to an English speaking ear. [name]Lucy[/name] or [name]Lucia[/name] (nn [name]Luz[/name] I suppose) could be safer.
[name]Mai[/name] - prn [name]May[/name] or My? Nice although kind of hard to know what to do with. I’d go with [name]Mia[/name] or [name]Maya[/name] over this personally.
Philomé - quite lovely, although I prefer [name]Philomene[/name] or [name]Philomena[/name].

I agree with jesba that [name]Saffron[/name] would be better than [name]Sappho[/name]. Maybe even [name]Sapphira[/name].
[name]Riva[/name] - It’s ok. I know it’s a name in its own right, but it feels like a mix between [name]Rena[/name] and [name]Rivka[/name] to me, both of which I like better

[name]Mia[/name] - It’s cute. I could picture this on a little girl or a sophisticated adult. It feels a bit overused though

Mirre - I have a cousin (in The Netherlands, actually!) who spells her name this way. I like it a lot.

[name]Luz[/name] - It’s ok. Has a hipster vibe, imo. Would you consider spelling it the Dutch way, Loes?

[name]Sappho[/name] - I my, I would [name]LOVE[/name] someone to use this name. That baby would have to be pretty hip though - that is one very cool name. I actually rather like it’s historical association too, although it may be difficult for a little girl. I’d pair it with something relatively feminine

I prn Mirre as Mir- (with a short i, like in quick) -ruh, so it does sounds a bit like mirror in english: ha! I never realized that!
[name]Maya[/name] vs [name]Maia[/name], i like [name]Maya[/name] on paper, but dislike the y in most names: therefore not sure which one I really prefer.
[name]Mai[/name]: I prn it as My, it is a nod to my grandfather who was born in may, and who i was very fond of.
I like [name]Lux[/name] too, [name]Eilidh[/name], but it would be considered very strange where I live, unfortunately. Still, you’ll never know how brave i will be, when i really get to name a daughter
