I thought it might be interesting to list our kids’ class rosters. I’ll post back with my 4th grader’s and a condensed list from my 7th grader’s classes later
[name]Aaron[/name]
[name]Andrew[/name]
[name]Brook[/name]
[name]Destin[/name]
[name]Faith[/name]
[name]Indiana[/name]
[name]Jacob[/name] - NN [name]Jake[/name]
[name]John[/name]
[name]Malachi[/name]
[name]Maria[/name]
[name]Matthew[/name]
Paytan
[name]Peyton[/name]
[name]Preston[/name]
Raelin
[name]Rhiley[/name]
[name]Ricky[/name]
[name]Scout[/name] (The name on her b/c is [name]Catherine[/name], but she only goes by [name]Scout[/name])
[name]Shawn[/name]
[name]Taylor[/name]
[name]Trenton[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name] - NN [name]Tori[/name]
[name]Zachery[/name] - NN [name]Zac[/name]
Oh! And if you could post roughly where you’re from, I think it would be fun to see what trends are happening in other places. I’m in the mid-western US.
Interesting list! Like [name]Scarlett[/name], my daughter is too young for school
I immediately thought, “I wonder if she lives in the Midwest?” when I saw [name]Destin[/name] on the list. Destin, FL seems to be the #1 vacation destination, at least amongst the people I grew up with. Probably conceived there
My son is in first grade also, but he is in a small private school.
Khyler
[name]Joe[/name] (not [name]Joseph[/name], just [name]Joe[/name])
[name]Noah[/name]
[name]Logan[/name]
[name]Ian[/name]
[name]Jaden[/name]
[name]Austin[/name]
I don’t have any children yet, but I also live in the mid-western US and I also see those names a lot. [name]Scout[/name] is very interesting, though. That’s a first.
Please don’t post class rosters on Nameberry. Your daughter’s classmates’ parents might not appreciate it if they were to come across this. There’s nothing wrong with posting the interesting choices, but please don’t post the entire class roster.
