PART 1:
Wrote my comments for each name, phew. Sorry if some of the comments are short, I was getting tired and some names I didnât have much to say about, just flat out donât like them.
Favorites are bold and underlined!
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] ~Honestly, not a huge fan of this name, but I guess itâs growing on me. I keep thinking of kool-aid when I read it though. Thatâs just me though.
[name_f]Adelle[/name_f]/Audelle ~I like that the spelling of [name_f]Adelle[/name_f] is different but thatâs about it. Not a fan of Audelle though.
Allifair ~Seems more like a boys name to me because of itâs similarities to [name_m]Alastair[/name_m].
[name_f]Althea[/name_f] nn [name_f]Thea[/name_f] ~[name_f]Thea[/name_f] is a cute name, other than thatâŠIâm not a fan.
[name_f]Alys[/name_f]/[name_f]Alyse[/name_f]/[name_f]Alice[/name_f] ~[name_f]Alice[/name_f] would be okay as a first name but if you wanna use [name_f]Alys[/name_f] or [name_f]Alyse[/name_f], I suggest going the middle name route.
[name_m]Ansel[/name_m] ~Seems more masculine to me.
[name_f]Antigone[/name_f] ~I may be the only one who supports this but I guess itâs a slight GP of mine, Iâd never use it myself butâŠI do like it!!
[name_f]Araminta[/name_f] ~Not even 100% sure on the pronunciationâŠ
[name_f]Asia[/name_f] ~I like some place names, not this one though.
[name_f]Astoria[/name_f] ~[name_u]Story[/name_u] is big and I donât care for it, I feel like this is a good name where you could use [name_u]Story[/name_u] as a nn if you really liked [name_u]Story[/name_u]. Kind of a cute name though.
[name_u]Auden[/name_u] (a spin of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] after [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Hepburn, and my favorite season, [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]) ~Not a huge fan of this, however Iâm favoriting it because I love you reasoning!! Names with meaning to you are the best!!
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u] ~[name_f]Love[/name_f] this! Wanted to use it myself honestly but there are other names I like more at the moment, plus Iâm having boys now anyway. Haha! It is adorable though and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] as a nn is just perfect.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/Bettrys nn [name_f]Bea[/name_f] ~Ahh, sigh. So nice to see [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] on here. I donât really care for the name, but it is nice to see. [name_f]Bea[/name_f] is such a cute nn!
[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] mn maybe? ~If youâre gonna use this, I definitely suggest it only as a mn. Not a fan.
[name_u]Blaine[/name_u] nn [name_f]Bea[/name_f] ~This is pretty cute, I feel like itâs slightly more masculine though, the nn [name_f]Bea[/name_f] gives it that feminine feel.
Blush (probably my favorite color name) ~This is actually kind of cute. If all other color names can be used, why not this one? Give it life!
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] ~I never know how to pronounce this!!! This name frustrates me on so many levels. Definitely not a fan!!!
[name_u]Chelsea[/name_u] ~Pretty cute name. Definitely one of your better ones thus far. Itâs on my list though Iâm sure Iâll never use it.
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] nn [name_f]Clover[/name_f] or [name_m]Clovis[/name_m] ~Uh, not sure how [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] turns to [name_f]Clover[/name_f]âŠI could see [name_f]Clover[/name_f]âŠ[name_f]Clo[/name_f]âŠturning into [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] but I have a hard time seeing it the other way. I definitely suggest [name_f]Clover[/name_f] over [name_m]Clovis[/name_m] though and I do like [name_f]Clover[/name_f] and [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] individually.
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] ~Cute, I think it makes an adorable mn (for my style) but if you like it as a first, go for it! [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]?
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] nn [name_u]Cory[/name_u] or [name_f]Coco[/name_f] ~This is another one where I think the nn is a bit of a stretch but not a fan of any of this honestly.
[name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] ~This is a little better, though I think of the masculine form [name_m]Cornelius[/name_m] almost immediately.
[name_u]Darby[/name_u] ~EhâŠitâs okay. I think [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] is better though I donât care for either.
Dandelion ~This is cute. No Dandy as a nn? xD hahaha!
Danieli (dan-yell-lee) ~Kind of âtrendyâ (though I hate when people say that about a name, sigh) however, itâs a unique twist to [name_f]Danielle[/name_f] and if you prefer the unique names, more power to you!
[name_f]Edith[/name_f]/[name_f]Edythe[/name_f] ~Not a fan as a first name, okay middle name though!
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] ~âŠhuh? Not even sure how to start to pronounce this haha sorry!
[name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] ~Not really a fan of this, but itâs not the worst.
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] ~âŠThis isnât too bad I guessâŠ
Ellanoir ~Um, I like the [name_f]Ella[/name_f] part, I feel like noir ruins it though.
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] ~[name_f]Kinda[/name_f] cute. Thereâs better on here though.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] nn [name_f]Elle[/name_f] or [name_u]Wren[/name_u] ~Not a fan of [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] exactly but I do like the nns you have for it. [name_u]Wren[/name_u] especially!
Elsinore ~Not sure how to pronounce this so, nope.
[name_f]Elspeth[/name_f] ~Another that Iâm unsure how to pronounce.
Elsyve (made this one up myself , pronounced, else-iv) ~I actually think pronouncing it [name_f]Else[/name_f]-eve would be better. I do like the spelling though. Seems like a name that would be around.
[name_f]Eluned[/name_f] ~Not sure how to pronounce but it just doesnât look feminine at all.
[name_f]Emerald[/name_f] nn [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] ~Adorable!!! [name_f]Love[/name_f] it.
[name_f]Emily[/name_f] nn [name_f]Emma[/name_f] ~I donât think [name_f]Emma[/name_f] would be a good nn for [name_f]Emily[/name_f]. I say use one or the other, and Iâm biased but my vote is for [name_f]Emma[/name_f]!!!
[name_f]Endellion[/name_f] ~Seems a bit more masculine to me honestly but not too bad.
[name_f]Enid[/name_f] ~Would be an okay middle name I guess. I feel like itâs a bit outdated though.
[name_f]Ethel[/name_f] ~Another fairly outdated name. Better than [name_f]Enid[/name_f] though.
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] ~Kind of cute. I think I might like this over [name_f]Ella[/name_f].
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] ~Not sure how to pronounce.
[name_f]Eunice[/name_f] ~This one makes me feel like Iâm saying something disgusting. [name_m]Just[/name_m] feels like a word for something gross. I donât like it as a personâs name!
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] nn [name_f]Fig[/name_f] (personal reason for the nn [name_f]Fig[/name_f], lol) ~[name_f]Love[/name_f] the name [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], I think [name_f]Fig[/name_f] would be a cute nn if you had a specific reason for it!
[name_f]Florence[/name_f] ~Kind of a pretty place name. Not the best but I do like it.
[name_f]Francesca[/name_f] nn [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] ~âŠsigh. [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] is eh, okay. Not a fan of [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] for a girl though.
[name_f]Gilda[/name_f] ~I feel like this is something that would be the name of a television dinosaur or stuffed one. NOT SURE WHY HAHA.
[name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f] nn [name_f]Dolly[/name_f], [name_f]Gwen[/name_f], and/or [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] ~I really donât like [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f], like at all. Itâs nice to see different nns rather than [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] though.
[name_f]Hazyl[/name_f] nn [name_m]Haze[/name_m] ~Not a fan of [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] originally, and I definitely donât care for this spelling. Plus, I think itâd be a baaad idea for a nn to be [name_m]Haze[/name_m]!
Hazyn nn [name_m]Haze[/name_m] ~This is even worse, sorry.
Hepburn ~Iâm assuming this is because of your [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] Hepburn crush. I think this would be a cute mn but, I wouldnât use it as a first.
[name_f]Hilde[/name_f] ~Not a fan of this. Too outdated for my taste.
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] nn [name_f]Indie[/name_f] or [name_u]Isa[/name_u] ~I donât like this at all. [name_f]Indie[/name_f] is a cute nn but not for this name.
Irelyn ~I do like [name_f]Ireland[/name_f], but this is eh. [name_f]Ireland[/name_f] is way better sorry!
[name_u]Isa[/name_u] ~Makes me think of [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] which I donât like.
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] nn [name_u]Isa[/name_u] ~And here it isâŠnope. Sorry.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] ~This is alright. Iâm not a big fan of I names really.
[name_f]Isolde[/name_f]/[name_f]Isotta[/name_f] ~Nope, not a fan.
Izmir (itâs a city in Turkey) ~I would use this as a mn if Turkey is special to you in someway, otherwise Iâd stay away.
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] nn Janebird (family name) ~Since itâs a family name, I recommend it as a middle name, though I do like it.
[name_f]Jolie[/name_f] ~This has been growing on me. [name_f]Kinda[/name_f] cute. Figured I havenât favorited that many, so I did to this one.
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] nn [name_f]Juno[/name_f] ~[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] has been growing on me as a middle name. I do like [name_f]Juno[/name_f] on itâs own though!!
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] ~THERE WE GO! Yes. [name_f]Juno[/name_f], love it. [name_f]Antigone[/name_f] and [name_f]Juno[/name_f]? Swoon.
[name_f]Katy[/name_f]/[name_f]Kate[/name_f]/[name_f]Cate[/name_f] ~Not a fan, Iâve known too many, sorry.
Kandee (after my favorite makeup artist, Kandee [name_m]Johnson[/name_m]) ~I do like that your reasoning however, most people would judge you for this choice, so if you choose it, be prepared for that. Maybe as a middle?
[name_f]Kinsley[/name_f] ~This is actually pretty cute!
[name_f]Laguna[/name_f] ~[name_f]Laguna[/name_f] [name_m]Beach[/name_m]? No. Wouldnât recommend it.
[name_m]Lennox[/name_m] ~I like this on a boy, not on a girl.
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] ~A fairly cute name, but I do like other L names more. (i.e. [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Leah[/name_f])
[name_f]Lilac[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lila[/name_f] ~This would be cute.
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]/[name_f]Lilly[/name_f] ~Not a fan of [name_f]Lily[/name_f], like at all. I prefer the flower names [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
[name_m]Llewellyn[/name_m] nn [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] ~Not 100% sure how to pronounce this, kinda like the nn [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] though.
[name_u]London[/name_u] ~Not one of the better place names.
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] (family name) ~The longer version of [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is usually [name_f]Letitia[/name_f], in case you didnât know that. I suggest family names work better as middle names.
[name_f]Lotus[/name_f] ~Not a fan of this. There are better names.
[name_f]Lulu[/name_f] ~Ahh [name_f]Lulu[/name_f]. Adorable. While I think this is cute, I think itâs better to have a full name and use this as a nn.
