My final list

I have spent SO much time on name sites thinking I would fall in love with new names… and I haven’t… okay two. :stuck_out_tongue:

So, basically my list is the same as it ever was. Please tell me exactly what you think of these names.

[name]Natalie[/name] (Her dad is [name]Nathan[/name], so I think it’s extra sweet. Plus all the Natalies I’ve ever met have been “all American” which i find appealing.)

[name]Bethany[/name] (When I was 16, I was obsessed with surfing and read an AMAZING story about a christian girl who over came loosing her arm to a shark attack… I had no idea they would do a movie. xD Lol But I love it anyway. I also think ‘[name]Beth[/name]’ is very sweet.)

[name]Kathleen[/name] (I just love it. It seems sophisticated, but has the spunky [name]Kate[/name] a girl can run through fields chasing butterflies with. [name]Princess[/name] and Pauper in one)

[name]Aria[/name]

[name]Cecily[/name]

[name]June[/name] (My birth month. I just think it’s pretty and delicate.)

[name]Mae[/name]

[name]Guinevere[/name] (guilty pleasure. I love [name]Gwen[/name]! I’m not sure DH would ever go for it though.)

And finally…

[name]Winter[/name]! (I fell in love with this one and [name]Guinevere[/name] while here on nameberry. I think [name]Winter[/name] will have to be a double barrel middle name if its ever used though)

[name]Natalie[/name] - I love [name]Natalie[/name], I also get All-American vibes from this

[name]Bethany[/name] - NMS but I like your connection to the name

[name]Kathleen[/name] - I love it! There are lots of Cath/Kath-names in my family, and I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Kate[/name]!

[name]Aria[/name] - I really like this one! Cute, short, and sweet

[name]Cecily[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name], I just added it to my list as a MN

[name]June[/name] - Its nice but seems unsubstantial to me, better as an MN

[name]Mae[/name] - Same as [name]June[/name]

[name]Guinevere[/name] - I like [name]Gwen[/name] but [name]Guinevere[/name] seems very harsh to me, I think it is the Guine spelling. What about [name]Gwenyth[/name]?

[name]Winter[/name] - I think [name]Winter[/name] is lovely and does not need to be a double barrell name, it can stand on its own [name]IMO[/name].

[name]Natalie[/name] - I think this is a really good option for you

[name]Bethany[/name] - I really like this one

[name]Kathleen[/name] - other than not liking this one, all the [name]Kathleen[/name]'s I’ve known have either gone by [name]Kathy[/name] or nothing at all

[name]Aria[/name] - It’s nice but I like your others better

[name]Cecily[/name] - cute, and I like Cece as a nickname

[name]June[/name] - I like others better

[name]Mae[/name] - don’t see the appeal

[name]Guinevere[/name] - I don’t think [name]Gwen[/name] is an appropriate nn for [name]Guinevere[/name] as [name]Gwen[/name] is a completely different name, from [name]Gwendolen[/name], but [name]Guinevere[/name] nn Guin (prn. gwinn) is a great name

[name]Winter[/name] - cute, can stand on its own

Totally voting for [name]Bethany[/name]. I’ve seen the movie Soul Surfer and it’s amazing. I cried all the way through it, it’s so inspirational! I like the name [name]Beth[/name] anyway so I vote for [name]Bethany[/name] for the reason behind it and for the fact I like [name]Beth[/name]

[name]June[/name] is my favorite of your names for a girl, with [name]Mae[/name] second.

[name]Natalie[/name] – The only [name]Natalie[/name] I’ve ever met is 3 and she’s a whiney little girl. Nothing wrong with the name though, and I think it’s sweet the connection between father and daughter.

[name]Bethany[/name] – I really like [name]Bethany[/name]. It’s one of the “dated” names that i would really loved to come back.

[name]Kathleen[/name] – I think I like [name]Kathleen[/name] better than [name]Katherine[/name], and you still get the same nicknames, so I really like this.

[name]Aria[/name] – [name]One[/name] of my favorites! [name]Love[/name] the musical connection and the beautiful sound

[name]Cecily[/name] – I’m so-so about this one. i think it’s pretty but I don’t really like it too much

[name]June[/name] – [name]June[/name] is my birth month too, but I’m beginning to feel that [name]May[/name]/[name]Mae[/name] and [name]June[/name] are becoming filler names. I’ve known a ton of little girls with either of those in the middle.

[name]Mae[/name] – see the above

[name]Guinevere[/name] – [name]LOVE[/name]! This is so elegant and lovely and [name]Gwen[/name] is so sweet. Maybe he would go for [name]Gwendolyn[/name]?

[name]Winter[/name] – I like [name]Winter[/name] for a girl. I know a girl named [name]Winter[/name], she’s a dancer. I think with the other names on you list, this definitely would be a middle. [name]Kathleen[/name] [name]June[/name] [name]Winter[/name]? [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Winter[/name] [name]Aria[/name]? (as you can see, I love putting [name]Winter[/name] with something that makes a cool meaning like [name]June[/name] [name]Winter[/name] or [name]Winter[/name] [name]Aria[/name])

[name]Natalie[/name] - I really like this name. Two things to keep in mind, though. It’s rather popular right now, and if she and her dad may go by the same nickname ([name]Nat[/name]) it may be confusing. I say this having grown up in a house where my mother and brother both went by the same nickname (think [name]Christina[/name] and [name]Christopher[/name] [name]Smith[/name] both going by “[name]Chris[/name] [name]Smith[/name]”. Phone calls were tricky).

[name]Bethany[/name] - I love this name. Classic, pretty, not too common.

[name]Kathleen[/name] - my middle name, so I’m biased, but I like this one too. A bit less common than [name]Katherine[/name]/[name]Katelyn[/name].

[name]Aria[/name] - This name has grown on me, but honestly, it’s too princessy compared to your other options.

[name]Cecily[/name] - I love [name]Cecily[/name]. My only issue with it is that it seems like a great name for a girl and not that great of a name for a woman, if that makes sense.

[name]June[/name] - Pretty, but I think I’d use this as a middle name. It would pair well with a lot of your options - [name]Natalie[/name] [name]June[/name] would be sweet because then it’s sort of after you and your husband. [name]Cecily[/name] [name]June[/name] works as well.

[name]Mae[/name] - I think this works better as a middle name. [name]Bethany[/name] [name]Mae[/name] and [name]Kathleen[/name] [name]Mae[/name] are both pretty. Not enough substance for a first name, [name]IMO[/name].

[name]Guinevere[/name] - This is in my “love it but probably wouldn’t use it on a real child” category. Very pretty name, but I prefer some of your other options.

[name]Winter[/name] - Pretty and wistful. I’d use it as a middle name, I think your instincts are spot on with that. [name]Just[/name] no [name]June[/name] [name]Winter[/name] please  [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Winter[/name], [name]Bethany[/name] [name]Winter[/name], [name]Kathleen[/name] [name]Winter[/name]… those all sound lovely to me.

My favorite combo for you is [name]Natalie[/name] [name]June[/name], just because it honors you & your husband, and is very pretty together. I do really like [name]Bethany[/name], [name]Kathleen[/name] and [name]Cecily[/name] as well, and I think [name]Mae[/name], [name]June[/name] and [name]Winter[/name] would all be lovely middle names. Good luck! do keep us updated on what you pick.

Those names are gorgeous! I like them all!
[name]Natalie[/name] is a pretty name. My husband actually said once that it is a pretty girl name, as in all Natalies are pretty.
[name]Bethany[/name] is a name that I have loved forever. If I could have changed my name when I was younger, this is what I would have picked.
[name]Elizabeth[/name] is super popular, but [name]Bethany[/name] never has been. I think that could change.
[name]Kathleen[/name] is refreshing! I love all [name]Kate[/name] names and the world seems to as well. [name]Catherine[/name]/[name]Katherine[/name] are soooo popular, which is why I prefer the spelling [name]Kathryn[/name]. I’m a sucker for y’s in names too. For some reason I prefer nn [name]Kit[/name] with [name]Kathleen[/name].
[name]Aria[/name] is sooo pretty. Quite popular now that it is a character in the Pretty [name]Little[/name] Liar books and tv show.
[name]Cecily[/name] is lovely. I was a big fan of [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Maud[/name] [name]Montgomery[/name] books ([name]Anne[/name] of [name]Green[/name] Gables) and the show Road to Avonlea. I like the vintageness of the name. Since [name]Cecilia[/name] is catching on, I think [name]Cecily[/name] will too.
[name]June[/name] is great! I love [name]Junia[/name]. [name]June[/name] seems more like a refreshing mn choice for me though, but I do love hearing middles being used as firsts.
[name]Mae[/name] is great too! I met a [name]Mae[/name] my own age and she was pretty cool. I think this name will catch on too.
[name]Guinevere[/name] is lovely, but it is a bit frilly. I like nn [name]Neve[/name], since I have never been a fan of [name]Gwen[/name]. I also like [name]Guinevere[/name] pronounced [name]Gwin[/name]-a-veer, not [name]Gwen[/name]-a-veer. [name]Gwyn[/name] seems like the obvious choice for a nn.
[name]Winter[/name] is a lovely name, but it is my least favorite [name]Season[/name]. haha It is a nice mn choice for a [name]Winter[/name] baby though.
You have good taste!

You have good taste!

Thank you!

I’ll admit, I’m not use to people likeing my names as well as you all seem to. Makes me feel a lot better with my list. More satisfied. Thank you. (:

[name]Natalie[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it!

[name]Bethany[/name] - I like it. Not a favorite but nice.

[name]Kathleen[/name] - I like this as an alternative to [name]Katherine[/name]. I know one that goes by [name]Kathy[/name], but [name]Kate[/name] definitely works too.

[name]Aria[/name] - I love it!! I wish I could use it!

[name]Cecily[/name] - Not really a fan.

[name]June[/name] - It’s ok. I’m not the biggest fan of month names. I think it would be a cute middle name.

[name]Mae[/name] - Not bad, prefer as a middle.

[name]Guinevere[/name] - It’s ok. Pretty but NMS.

[name]Winter[/name] - Sorry, I don’t like it. I’m not a fan of word names. BUT out of all the word names, this one is much nicer than some of the others floating around. Has a soft, pure feel to it (I think of snow and crisp air).

I like [name]Mae[/name] the best!
