[name]Rogue[/name] - not a fan and could have negative connotations for resumes/jobs
[name]Piper[/name] - quirky & fun
[name]Alba[/name] - it’s ok
[name]Elektra[/name] - not my style
Acelyn, Ayslinn, or Ayslyn (pro. [name]Ace[/name]-lyn) what is your prefered spelling? - I know someone who prn Aislynn that way even though that spelling is tradionally prn [name]Ash[/name]-lyn.
[name]Nevaeh[/name] - not my style
[name]Thea[/name] - pretty
[name]Astra[/name] - it’s ok
[name]Anniston[/name] - It’s okay - I would probably nn [name]Annie[/name] or [name]Anna[/name]
[name]Petra[/name] - not my fave
[name]Rogue[/name] -Not my style. Can’t imagine this on a little girl.
[name]Piper[/name] - This is okay.
[name]Alba[/name] -Too similar to [name]Alby[/name], which is a boys name. Also reminds me of Albus. As in Alubs Dumbledore.
[name]Elektra[/name] -[name]Don[/name]'t like this at all. Sounds kind of cheap if I’m honest.
Acelyn, Ayslinn, or Ayslyn -Sounds completely made up to me. I vastly prefer [name]Aislinn[/name], pn [name]Ash[/name]-lyn
[name]Nevaeh[/name] - No! I’m sorry if this offends you, but this name is number one on my list of names I absolutely cannot tolerate and hate. I’m sorry for being a bit harsh, and I do think it has a pretty sound. Its just screams cheap to me. Again, sorry. But I really really hate this!
[name]Thea[/name] - Nice.
[name]Astra[/name] - This is a type of car in Europe. No.
[name]Anniston[/name] - Seems a bit try hard an celebrityish. Too many connections with [name]Jennifer[/name] [name]Anniston[/name] for me to like it. The nn’s [name]Anna[/name]/[name]Annie[/name] are sweet though.
[name]Petra[/name] -This is okay too.
Favorites are probably [name]Piper[/name], [name]Thea[/name] and [name]Petra[/name]. Although it seems we have completely different styles so I honestly can’t say I “love” any names on your list.
Sorry I can’t be anymore help. Good luck
[name]Rogue[/name] - too X-men for me, plus I can’t imagine taking an adult with this name seriously
[name]Piper[/name] - too Charmed for me, but at least this character is a good one as far as I know
[name]Alba[/name] - I like this one!
[name]Elektra[/name] - makes me think of the [name]Electra[/name] complex or [name]Carmen[/name] [name]Electra[/name], both of which turn me off the name
Acelyn, Ayslinn, or Ayslyn (pro. [name]Ace[/name]-lyn) what is your prefered spelling? - I don’t like any of them, but Acelynn works best for pronunciation
[name]Nevaeh[/name] - I don’t know how to pronounce it, and I don’t understand its popularity
[name]Thea[/name] - I love this one!
[name]Astra[/name] - makes me think of AstraZeneca, but it’s okay
[name]Anniston[/name] - too [name]Jennifer[/name] [name]Anniston[/name] for me
[name]Petra[/name] - I love this one!
Well… I like [name]Thea[/name]! [name]Petra[/name] is ok. It’s a hard sounding name, though, and I prefer the softer names. [name]Alba[/name] is ok. As for the rest of your list–not my style at all.
[name]Hi[/name]! Well, you have some of my favourite and some of my very most hated names on your list. Haha. Interesting situation…
Here’s my opinions:
[name]Rogue[/name]- I think the meaning of the word puts me off. Can’t imagine a ‘[name]Rogue[/name]’ in a serious profession too, which would bother me
[name]Piper[/name]- NMS
[name]Alba[/name]- Like this! [name]Lovely[/name], underused, soft name.
[name]Elektra[/name]- Please no
Acelyn, Ayslinn, or Ayslyn- Honestly, all these sound made up to me. Not a fan.
[name]Nevaeh[/name]- My number 1 worst name. Haha
[name]Thea[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name] this. Considered this for all 3 of my kids. Has the same subtle softness as [name]Alba[/name].
[name]Astra[/name]- Like it. Slightly put off by it being the name of a car, but generally a really cool choice.
[name]Anniston[/name]- Very bland [name]IMO[/name]
[name]Petra[/name]- Another I adore. Beautiful, international sounding. Really individual but wearable.
I chose [name]Alba[/name] and [name]Thea[/name].
[name]Alba[/name] is just gorgeous to me, I love the sound and the meaning and the fact it’s used in my favourite book ever (The Time Travelers Wife), I just with the SO loved it as much as I do and she’s a little bit of a pain to match with sibs.
I also really like [name]Thea[/name], I feel that it’s very simple and pretty.
The rest are just not my style, to me the feel very modern and ‘cool’ sounding and I prefer slightly more traditional or even simple and down to earth. They aren’t bad choices though and I’d say they’re all fine, apart from maybe [name]Anniston[/name], which I feel is too masculine on a girl and also has too strong a link to [name]Jennifer[/name] [name]Anniston[/name].
All the best x
[name]Rogue[/name] - Great for hardcore right-wingers.
[name]Piper[/name] - Okay
[name]Alba[/name] - Meh
[name]Elektra[/name] - A fave when I was 11.
Acelyn, Ayslinn, or Ayslyn (pro. [name]Ace[/name]-lyn) what is your prefered spelling? - No, no, no, none.
[name]Nevaeh[/name] - Ssorg
[name]Thea[/name] - I kind of like [name]Theodora[/name], but not [name]Thea[/name].
[name]Astra[/name] - [name]Future[/name] palm reader
[name]Anniston[/name] - LOL. No.
[name]Petra[/name] - Yes! I like this one.
[name]Rogue[/name] - No, it’s a comic book superhero.
[name]Piper[/name] - I like this. It’s cute.
[name]Alba[/name] - [name]Just[/name] makes me think of [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Alba[/name]. [name]Don[/name]'t care for it.
[name]Elektra[/name] - See [name]Rogue[/name].
Acelyn, Ayslinn, or Ayslyn (pro. [name]Ace[/name]-lyn) what is your prefered spelling? - This just looks very made-up to me. Not a fan.
[name]Nevaeh[/name] - I know this name has become popular but I really, really, really dislike it.
[name]Thea[/name] - [name]Love[/name] [name]Thea[/name]!
[name]Astra[/name] - I like this. It’s unusual but I think it could work as long as it was paired with a down-to-earth middle name.
[name]Anniston[/name] - Same as [name]Alba[/name], only with [name]Jennifer[/name] [name]Anniston[/name].
[name]Petra[/name] - Eh, it’s okay. Not my favorite but at least it’s legit.
By far my favorites on your list are [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Thea[/name], followed by [name]Astra[/name] and [name]Petra[/name]. The rest I just really don’t care for at all.
[name]Rogue[/name] - I prefer this for a boy.
[name]Piper[/name] - I can see the appeal. It’s very pretty sounding. This is my second favorite from your list.
[name]Alba[/name] - I’m not a fan.
[name]Elektra[/name] - I very much like names with -tra endings. This one is probably my least favorite of them all.
Acelyn, Ayslinn, or Ayslyn (pro. [name]Ace[/name]-lyn) what is your prefered spelling? - Acelyn is my favorie spelling but I prefer many other names on your list.
[name]Nevaeh[/name] - I always have trouble with pronounciation. If you love how [name]Nevaeh[/name] sounds you could always spell it differently (ex. Nevaya). I prefer [name]Heaven[/name].
[name]Thea[/name] - This is a very pretty name that I can’t get into. I think it’s beautiful on other people’s children.
[name]Astra[/name] - This is my third favorite on your list.
[name]Anniston[/name] - This is okay but I find it to be very trendy. It is too closely associated with [name]Jennifer[/name] [name]Anniston[/name]. I’ll bet everyone who named their child [name]Tiger[/name] after a certain celebrity regrets it now. Please beware.
[name]Petra[/name] - My absolute favorite name on your list, without question. I adore this name. I associate it with a character in my favorite childhood novel, The Chrysalids.
Good luck!
[name]Thea[/name], [name]Alba[/name] and [name]Petra[/name] are fantastic. [name]Thea[/name] is probably the most familiar of those three names which may be a positive or a negative for you. I really love [name]Alba[/name], probably because of The Time [name]Traveler[/name]'s Wife. I think of that reference as opposed to [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Alba[/name]. [name]Petra[/name] is cool and kind of exotic.
[name]Thea[/name] is great!
[name]Piper[/name], [name]Astra[/name], [name]Alba[/name] and [name]Petra[/name] are quite nice.
With any of these 5 you can’t go too wrong.
[name]Nevaeh[/name], [name]Anniston[/name], Acelyn, [name]Rogue[/name] and [name]Elektra[/name] are a different story…
[name]Rogue[/name] - Not very feminine.
[name]Piper[/name] - Meh.
[name]Alba[/name] - Very pretty - [name]Love[/name] it!
[name]Elektra[/name] - Sorry if I sound terribly snoby, but I think you’d have to be very high class to pull this off without sounding cheap. Other than that, it’s very spunky and cool.
Acelyn, Ayslinn, or Ayslyn - No.
[name]Nevaeh[/name] - I’ve never met a little [name]Nevaeh[/name], surprisingly, and I actually [name]DON[/name]'T find the sound of it too revolting. Although at least 90% of the population absolutely detest it, which I think is probably because it’s just about all of the Nevaehs born are the children of tacky, cheap and teenage parents.
[name]Thea[/name] - [name]Lovely[/name]. I prefer [name]Althea[/name]/[name]Anthea[/name]. It’s still very pretty.
[name]Astra[/name] - I don’t mind the sound of it. Although isn’t it a type of car? [name]Astrid[/name], perhaps?
[name]Anniston[/name] - [name]Don[/name]'t mind it. Not my style, really, but it’s OK. It sounds very 90s to me, but maybe that’s because [name]Jennifer[/name] [name]Anniston[/name] makes me think of Friends.
[name]Petra[/name] - It’s nice. I wouldn’t use it myself, but I’d love to meet a little [name]Petra[/name]!
You have quite a wide variety of names, there! I think my favourite is [name]Alba[/name] - maybe [name]Petra[/name] or [name]Thea[/name]. I don’t know.
