I think I’ve decided. I love so many girls names it’s been hard to narrow it down. My kids and hubby like the nicknames [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f], and so wanted the name [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. But I’m not sure if it’s my fave. So, all that to say, I think her name will be
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].
What do you think? Other names on my list were:
I love the name [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is better than [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], though it still flows nicely either way. Perhaps [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] or [name_f]Camille[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].
If you use [name_f]Nora[/name_f], you can’t use [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] sounds very sweet, as does [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f].
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is a nice name, but I have a soft spot for foreign variations of classic names. I’m loving [name_f]Eleora[/name_f] and [name_f]Leonora[/name_f].
Have you already decided upon [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] as a first?
It’s uncommon to use a nn of the middle name as the primary name.
I like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Vivian[/name_u].
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] is also very pretty.
My daughter and husband like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] because they like [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f]. And while I don’t mind [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], i feel I prefer [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] just a bit more. With all of our other kids we call them by their middle name almost as often as their first name, so we’ll be saying [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] often enough for [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] to make sense. but obviously using the first name more, and other people use the first name. So it’s still important to me which order I use the names.
I love the name [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]! Very pretty. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is a good nickname for that name. That name is my top choice right now as well! I’m thinking [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u]
