We are expecting number four. In case you haven’t seen other posts I’ll explain… Everyone in the family has 5 letter names - [name]James[/name] and [name]Jamie[/name] (mom and dad) [name]Elise[/name], [name]Marie[/name], and [name]Clara[/name]. My husband has fallen in love with the name [name]Josie[/name] for girl #4. I like it, but it feels too nick namey to me. If we gave her the full name [name]Josefine[/name], but she always went by [name]Josie[/name], would that be strange? [name]Do[/name] you think we (or she) would regret it? [name]Do[/name] you think it would fit with the sib set?
I’m far from sold on the idea but my husband is ready to pick the name…
Others we’re considering:
[name]Annie[/name]
[name]Julia[/name]*
[name]Lydia[/name]*
[name]Heidi[/name]
[name]Dalia[/name]
[name]Jayne[/name] (I know, [name]Jane[/name] is way better, but I’m going with the 5 letter rule)
*The front runners for me.
So many names I’ve LOVED have been crossed off the list because they’re over popular, I have a bad association, or length of letters, but if you think you have THE [name]ONE[/name] for me, I’d love to hear it.
Cheers!
[name]Jamie[/name]
