Thanks everyone for your help on my previous post I finally made a decision (changed the middle names slightly and went with the most European set since as mentioned previously I want the names to work in 2 languages/countries).
I think these are super sweet and you made a good choice. I personally am not the biggest fan of [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] but that is more bad associations than anything. I go on and off [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] but I think you have got such a sweet name there. 🫶🏻
Wow I love these! [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is a stunning name (slightly old Hollywood vibe) and [name_u]Coco[/name_u] is an adorable nn for [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] only criticisms would be that I prefer [name_f]Milly[/name_f] as a nn for [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] than [name_f]Tilly[/name_f], and the repeated ‘a’s of [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] is a little clunky to say. But all in all, gorgeous
i think matilda florence & ingrid eliza are both very nice but i think clara abigail needs some work, the 2 a’s make it a bit hard to say: clara abigail
some more suggestions:
clara penelope
clara edith
clara josephine
clara henrietta
but i just realized after typing that, that i could be saying clara differently than u, im saying it clair-uh but others might say it cl-are-uh - if youre saying it cl-are-uh then clara abigail sounds fine bc the a’s are said differently!
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Florence[/name_u] is such a sweet cottagecore name that has a [name_f]British[/name_f] feel. I think she’s delightful. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] feels timeless, warm and cosy with an autumnal flair. Finally [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] feels strong, classic and spunky. All three names definitely have a cottagecore feel, seem very cohesive and elegant. Such a warm classic sibling set.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] are vintage but fresh, and I love the fun nicknames! They’ve got an international and stylish vibe but sweet too!
The only two things I’d consider changing:
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] → it’s not bad and I don’t mind it at all, but I would prefer [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] etc. still, as I say, [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] does work even if it’s not my fave, and fits the classic vibe of the other middles
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] ‘Tilly’ → [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] is cute and sparkly, but [name_u]Indy[/name_u] and [name_u]Coco[/name_u] feel just a tiny bit more wordy, spunky and modern in comparison? [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] ‘Miller’, [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] ‘Mitzi’, [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] ‘Misty’, [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] ‘Tizzy’, [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] ‘Miffy’
As I say, neither of those complaints are a big deal and they’re good as they are
[name_f]Adore[/name_f] [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], that’s wonderful. I think [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] would be a better diminutive than [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] for for [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], I just find [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] a little wet and frilly compared to [name_u]Coco[/name_u] and [name_u]Indie[/name_u], and feel the harder [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] holds its own better next to these edgier names. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] isn’t my ideal sound just because the back to back a’s, but certainly not bad and style-wise they sit well together. For me, there’s names I like and names I don’t so much, and [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] stands out head and shoulders as a strong and sparkling combo. But this is just personal taste, the combos are well balanced.
