[name]Dexter[/name] ([name]Dex[/name]) -> OK
[name]Clyde[/name] -> This name sounds a bit slimy to me. Car salesman [name]Clyde[/name].
[name]Robinson[/name] -> Pretty good. Other great “son” names: [name]Weston[/name], [name]Garrison[/name], [name]Greyson[/name], [name]Harrison[/name]
[name]Silas[/name] -> No… Not even sure how to pronounce this which means other people might have trouble too. I prefer stronger names
[name]Cormac[/name] ([name]Mack[/name])- [name]LOVE[/name]
[name]Daire[/name] - Seems feminine
[name]Devlin[/name] ([name]Dev[/name]) - Same as above
[name]Conrad[/name] ([name]Rad[/name]) - Great name
[name]Linus[/name] - Meh… I’d rather [name]Leonard[/name], [name]Lincon[/name] (linc), [name]Lee[/name], [name]Levi[/name] if you like “L” names
Overall I like [name]Robinson[/name], [name]Cormac[/name] and [name]Conrad[/name]. With [name]Cormac[/name] being my #1 by far.
Great list. I haven’t seen most of these on other peoples.
[name]Silas[/name] and [name]Linus[/name] are two of my favorite names!
[name]Silas[/name] I think is especially wearable and becoming popular enough not to be weird, but still a fresh and unusual choice. I don’t see there being a pronunciation problem at all. I know a couple of guys name [name]Silas[/name], all in their 20’s-30’s, all cool, talented and fun guys.
[name]Linus[/name] may be more of a challenge, due to a more unfortunate Euro pronunciation (if you’re American), and if the Peanut’s association bothers you (although [name]Linus[/name] was actually named [name]Lionel[/name], nn [name]Linus[/name]). But a great name - reminds me of [name]Linus[/name] Pauling. [name]Dexter[/name] is great too - some people mention the serial killer, but I think of the adorable [name]Dexter[/name]'s Laboratory.
[name]Hi[/name] Leonielee, my faves are your list are [name]Silas[/name], [name]Cormac[/name] and [name]Conrad[/name]. [name]Dexter[/name] and [name]Linus[/name] are ok but the associations with the TV serial killer and the Peanuts comic strip are still very strong. I prefer [name]Clive[/name] more than [name]Clyde[/name] and there are better names ending in -son than [name]Robinson[/name] (eg. [name]Harrison[/name], [name]Anderson[/name]). [name]Daire[/name] and [name]Devlin[/name] seem more feminine in sound to me. Good luck, [name]Mischa[/name].
[name]Dexter[/name] ([name]Dex[/name])- I like it, but many would associate it with the tv/ book character.
[name]Clyde[/name]- Not a fan
[name]Robinson[/name] ([name]Rob[/name] or [name]Roby[/name])- Not my favourite but it’s ok.
[name]Silas[/name]- [name]Love[/name] this!
[name]Cormac[/name] ([name]Mack[/name])- It’s ok.
[name]Daire[/name]- how is this pronounced? I have been interested in this name before but haven’t been able to source the correct way to say it.
[name]Devlin[/name] ([name]Dev[/name])- Pretty cool.
[name]Conrad[/name] ([name]Rad[/name])- It’s alright.
[name]Linus[/name]- I like it.
My favourites are [name]Silas[/name] and [name]Linus[/name]
[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Dexter[/name] and [name]Silas[/name], and I kind of like [name]Linus[/name] and [name]Conrad[/name] as well. [name]Daire[/name] looks more feminine to me.
