I’m a bit iffy on the [name]Harmony[/name] bit of this name. But I really like the other two, I just think it needs two middles. Any suggestions.

I love [name]Grey[/name] and [name]Theo[/name] for boys. [name]Cora[/name] is my favorite from your girls list. [name]Charlotte[/name] is pretty too. I dislike [name]Harmony[/name] with [name]Evanna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] and I really think it’d be better off with a one-syllable 2nd middle name like [name]Blythe[/name] or [name]Rose[/name]. I love that [name]Andromeda[/name] is on your list! It reminds me of Tonks from [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name].

[name]Theon[/name] is a great name. Father of the first female mathematician —> you’ll have smart granddaughters. :smiley:

Not a fan of Maxon. I like [name]Ryker[/name] and know it’s an old Dutch name, but the only time I’ve seen it used [name]IRL[/name] is on the jail and I strongly associate it with that. Maybe the association will wane with more boys being named [name]Ryker[/name] and Riker. It should be alright. [name]Just[/name] not with Maxon.

[name]Evanna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is great, but I’m not a fan of [name]Harmony[/name]. Your instincts are correct on this one, [name]IMO[/name]. It’s a little too corny. Are you looking for another H name? [name]Harriet[/name], [name]Heather[/name], [name]Hilda[/name], [name]Hillary[/name]? [name]Evanna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is my favorite from your girls’ list, anyway.

I like [name]Evanna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], but no [name]Harmony[/name]. It’s too much imo.

I probably should’ve explained Maxon a little bit more lol. It’s a family name I found way beack on my family tree, as a last name. It’s Welsh/Scottish and was originally Maxson ([name]Son[/name] of [name]Max[/name]), I think it goes well with the new styles emerging for boy’s names.

[name]Theon[/name] is a name from Game of Thrones, and as the poster above mentioned the father of the first female mathematician! I heard this name is france at least half a dozen times when I was there last year (It’s pronounced more like Tayon). I think it has a certain charm. Although all the attention from GoT might be weird.

Maxon [name]Orion[/name] [name]Ryker[/name] – [name]Love[/name] that Maxon is a family name. I think Maxon has the right balance of fitting in with similarly styled names but still standing out from other [name]Max[/name]'s. I adore [name]Orion[/name], but don’t really like [name]Ryker[/name]. All I think of is Rikers Island (although the connection to the fictional [name]Ryker[/name]'s Island in the [name]Marvel[/name] Comics is pretty neat if you’re a [name]Marvel[/name] fan).

[name]Theon[/name] [name]Castor[/name] ([name]Theo[/name]) – I really like [name]Theon[/name]. For me, it has the same balance as Maxon: recognizable with nn [name]Theo[/name] but still stands on its own. [name]Castor[/name] is a cool middle choice! [name]Theon[/name] [name]Castor[/name] has really nice flow and sounds like the name of an ancient nobleman!

[name]Dante[/name] [name]Asher[/name] – SWOON! I have a serious soft spot for [name]Dante[/name], and I never have thought of pairing with something softer like [name]Asher[/name]. This is a definite cool-guy name.

[name]Joseph[/name] [name]Grey[/name] ([name]Grey[/name]) – Holy woah. I truly love this combination. It’s strong yet sweet. I have to point out, though, that [name]Joseph[/name] would be the odd brother out if his siblings were named [name]Dante[/name], Maxon, or [name]Theon[/name]. [name]Just[/name] sayin’!

[name]Andromeda[/name] [name]Evanna[/name] ([name]Andy[/name]) – I would give you major props if you used [name]Andromeda[/name] in real life. Part of me wonders if it’s a bit too much name, but the down-to-earth nn [name]Andy[/name] could help balance it. [name]Evanna[/name] is a lovely choice, but the last syllable of [name]Andromeda[/name] and the first of [name]Evanna[/name] mush together for me and I don’t like the flow as much as I love the flow of the boy’s names. [name]Andromeda[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is swoon-worthy in my book.

[name]Evanna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Harmony[/name]** – Because I suggested [name]Andromeda[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], I suggest [name]Evanna[/name] [name]Harmony[/name] here. I don’t love [name]Harmony[/name], but it does sound nice with [name]Evanna[/name]. [name]Evanna[/name] [name]Harmony[/name]… sounds like a U.N. good will ambassador :slight_smile:

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Odette[/name]/[name]Olivia[/name] ([name]Charly[/name]) – I like [name]Odette[/name] immensely more than [name]Olivia[/name]. [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Odette[/name] looks repetitive on paper, but when you say it aloud, the sounds are not too repetitive for my taste. I really like it! (And I may borrow that combo for my own long list if you don’t mind because it’s gorgeous… but, have no fear: Mr. J will not go for [name]Odette[/name]!)

[name]Cora[/name] [name]Soleil[/name] – This combo is beautiful! I love love love [name]Cora[/name]. She’s so sweet and spunky. I think [name]Soleil[/name] perfectly amps up [name]Cora[/name]'s quirkiness.

[name]Andromeda[/name] [name]Evanna[/name] ([name]Andy[/name]) - I love [name]Andromeda[/name], it seems such a waste to saddle it with the ugly, dated [name]Andy[/name]. I would use [name]Anna[/name], [name]Meda[/name] or even [name]Romy[/name].
[name]Evanna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Harmony[/name]** - I prefer the simpler [name]Eva[/name] to [name]Evanna[/name], [name]Caroline[/name]'s a bit bland, and [name]Harmony[/name] is tacky.
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Odette[/name]/[name]Olivia[/name] ([name]Charly[/name]) - I love [name]Odette[/name] the best of all three names, but the double -ette ending isn’t attractive and I’m bored to tears of [name]Olivia[/name]. Would you consider [name]Odette[/name] [name]Emilia[/name]?
[name]Cora[/name] [name]Soleil[/name] - I think [name]Cora[/name] needs something longer, like [name]Coral/name, [name]Charlotte[/name] or [name]Caroline[/name] nicknamed [name]Cora[/name]. [name]Soleil[/name] is a bit dippy, but nothing to fuss over. [name]Coral[/name] [name]Zara[/name] would be fantastic, if you’re open to suggestions on that one, or [name]Coral[/name] [name]Salome[/name]?

[name]Love[/name] your suggestion of [name]Coral[/name]. It has more substance than [name]Cora[/name], I think. For some reason I always forget about [name]Coral[/name] as a name. adds to list [name]Soleil[/name] does sound dippy. It’s just…too obvious as far as celestial names go.

[name]Ryker[/name] is a Dutch name, but I associate it with the (in)famous jail. [name]Dante[/name] is Italian (name of the poet who used himself as the narrator for the Inferno). It comes from [name]Durant[/name]/[name]Durante[/name]. I think I prefer [name]Durant[/name] on a non-Italian guy.

In that case, I like Maxson as a middle name. Sorry, I assumed you made Maxon up! I prefer it with the s (makes it look more like a surname/family name, [name]IMO[/name]).
