I totally forgot to let you all know that we eventually decided on two names before my little sister was born: [name_f]Alma[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] & [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] (purely because after reading your guys’ responses, [name_f]Frances[/name_f] definitely flowed better). As soon as she arrived she completely fit [name_f]Alma[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]…until she got home. She was too much of a bubbly baby to fit the calm feel [name_f]Alma[/name_f] gave, [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] felt more like her.

Although her name itself is quite nicknamey, she has many the nickname including [name_f]Etta[/name_f]-[name_f]France[/name_f], [name_f]Ettie[/name_f] & [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Etsie (the latter two being because a sweet 18 month old family friend just could not say [name_f]Etta[/name_f]!).

She was born on [name_u]June[/name_u] 25 at 2:03pm, weighing 7lbs 1oz.

She is a bubbly, fun-loving character and we’re smitten with her. Thankyou again for all your help.

A really great name. I love the idea of incorporating her middle name into her nickname…I’ve always wanted to do that. But just be careful what cute pet names you give her when she’s a baby…because despite your best intentions they will stick around for life! [name_m]Case[/name_m] in point: I’m an eighth grader who goes mostly by [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] at school, but at home? My family still hasn’t stopped calling me [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] [name_u]Baby[/name_u].
