As the topic states, is it weird if my name’s [name_f]Annie[/name_f] when my mum is named [name_u]Anne[/name_u]?
Would it be like when sons get their dads name?
I think it would be a cute connection between mother and daughter. Not too weird.

I personally wouldn’t do it, but if you and your mom both like it, go for it. I know a mother-daughter duo both named [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], they just have different nicknames and it is fine.
