I looooove your name! [name]Sonia[/name] is actually on my list. And I used to know a [name]Sonia[/name] when I was in middle school, and she was really sweet, kind, and smart- just as I’m sure you are. [name]Just[/name] so you know, the [name]Sonia[/name] I was friends with was a Muslim living in a not-so-tolerant state. She would typically face a lot of discrimination, but she loved who she was and was very proud of her culture. Because she respected herself, everyone else respected her too. You should feel good about yourself and your heritage. It’s unique and interesting. One last thing to keep in mind: 12 year olds can be insecure, and they are probably making fun of you to hide their own insecurites about themselves. But trust me, it gets better as you get older.
[name]Aren[/name]'t you just a ball of sunshine?! Too cute! You put a smile on my face with your descriptions. Keep up the writing I bet you’ll be very good one day.
Thank you! Yeah, I intend to keep writing. . . . You may see my pen name S. B. Yanovsky somewhere. It’s not a fake name, and, yes, Yanovsky is my surname. (My mom finally let me use it.) [name]Just[/name] . . . don’t try to look up my name in a phone book or online, everybody. You probably won’t find anything, anyway, but, just in case. I know I can trust you mothers and to-be-pregnant women and name-lovers and kids like me to not do something like that.
Anyway . . . if you want to discuss how you got your own name, you can do so on here! Please do!
Well, that’s all I wanted to say. Cya.
