So I scrapped my baby name lists and started again, excluding my top girls name [name_f]Florentina[/name_f] [name_f]Arleen[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f], nickname [name_u]Ronnie[/name_u] as it honours both of my grandparents. However, the rest are new combinations and I would like to know what you think…

Which is your favourite and do they work together?

[name_f]Pandora[/name_f] [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] - this is beautiful, and uses two of my favourite names, with [name_f]Pandora[/name_f], which is nice, but not really my style. I love the combination though!

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f]- gorgeous! I love seeing [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] used, and the names fit so perfectly together.

[name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] - this is ok, but [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] kind of throws it off for me. I think I’d prefer to see something shorter in the 2nd name slot, like [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Olympia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], or [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].

Solianna [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], and Solianna is quite interesting but I’m not 100% sure on it.

I think they all work nicely, apart from Solianna, which really stands out to me, and I’m not sure why :/. My favourite is a tie between [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] and [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] :slight_smile:

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Winnie[/name_f]’ - I don’t like the emphasis of [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], I think it’s sweet as [name_f]ELL[/name_f]-o-wen but ell-O-wen just doesn’t do it for me, [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is lovely, [name_f]Carys[/name_f] is not for me; I think I might like [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] better, flow wise but that also depends on your last name
  3. [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] - [name_f]Indira[/name_f] is nice, though not my style, [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] is lovely, [name_f]Rose[/name_f] I love only as a first name
  4. Solianna [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] ‘Soli’ - Solianna looks a bit too much like a smush name to me, [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] is gorgeous

[name_m]How[/name_m] they work together?
I think they are all so different in style. The only ones I can see together are [name_f]Indira[/name_f] and [name_f]Pandora[/name_f], but then again not because they are too similar. I can sort of see [name_f]Florentina[/name_f] and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] together but then [name_f]Florentina[/name_f] is very sweet and sugar-y to me while [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is sweet and quirky. [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] is very mysterious and I’m not sure what I should think of Solianna.

I agree with lawsonhaley about [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] & I love the suggestion of [name_f]Olympia[/name_f]. There are other [name_m]Sol[/name_m]- names that I think have a bit more substance than Solianna.

[name_f]Pandora[/name_f] [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] ‘[name_u]Po[/name_u]’ – I think this is absolutely stunning. I also love the idea of the nn [name_u]Po[/name_u], and I honestly wish that there were more little Pandoras running around.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Winnie[/name_f]’ – This one is also lovely! Something about it feels very charming and quirky, but it has maturity and sophistication as well.
[name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Indie[/name_f]’ – I like this quite a lot. I do love lawsonhaley’s suggestions for different mns, though; I love [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] but I agree that something a bit shorter flows better with this combo.
Solianna [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] ‘Soli’ – Not sure how you pronounce Solianna? I love [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] (they’re gorgeous), but Solianna I’m not familiar with, so I can’t really say.

Btw, I love the nn [name_u]Ronnie[/name_u]! So cute.
