My favorites are [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. For [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] nicknames, the ones that come to mind are [name_f]Gen[/name_f], [name_f]Genny[/name_f], [name_f]Genna[/name_f], [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Gigi[/name_f], [name_f]Viv[/name_f], and [name_f]Vivi[/name_f],

I still really like [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] “[name_f]Sara[/name_f]/[name_f]Sera[/name_f]” (I think the former works better if you plan on going by your nickname on paper, the latter if you really only use it for friends and people who know you well and make an effort to spell your name correctly).
As for a middle name, I like [name_f]Violet[/name_f] best. It grounds the name, makes it more approachable, less princess-y and overall more well rounded.

@violet1296 Thank you for your reply! I’ve gone through all of the [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] nicknames there could possibly be, just none of them feel like “me”, but [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] does. I definitely want a nn, though. I’m not sure if that’s a deal breaker or not. I’m going to try out some of the nicknames and see if they feel more like me in use rather than on paper.

@opheliaflora Thank you for your reply! I really like [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] for me, too. It’s been my consistent favourite throughout this whole thing. I will probably go with the [name_f]Sara[/name_f] spelling just to avoid confusion, but I do prefer the [name_f]Sera[/name_f] spelling. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is my favourite middle with it (right now at least), as well.

[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is really nice, but I’m not sure if I love [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_m]Lambert[/name_m] sounds.

To me, [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is the only name on your list that doesn’t feel overly froufrou with your surname. I like it with [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. Some nickname suggestions:

I like all your names with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] best, except [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. The ‘v’ start and end run into each other with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is my preference for [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Belle[/name_f].

I like all the first names, though prefer the others ahead of [name_f]Arabella[/name_f].

[name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] are awesome names, although I am not sure I like how [name_f]Belle[/name_f] sounds with your last name. The sound keeps running into each other and I heard Bellambert instead. Not sure if you find it problematic or not though. After all it’s in the middle, so doesn’t get to be used all the time anyway.

My favourites for you are [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] (swoon!! I know you said you consider taking [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] off the list. But I need to say [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is one truly beautiful combo. Recently there’s a berry who had a baby [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and I fell in love with the combo. [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is familiar yet unexpected and it’s just so pretty) and [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (there’s something sweet and homey about her. Makes me think of a pretty garden, vintage tea set, yummy cakes and a shelf full of books). Other than that I love [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] (only I am not sure I like it with [name_m]Lambert[/name_m], as mentioned earlier) and [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (I am sure I’ve said this for multiple times already, but you really look like an [name_f]Ana[/name_f]/[name_f]Anna[/name_f] to me :)).

I am actually surprised I don’t love [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f] more, probably because I am too used to see [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] spelling that [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f] (though completely legit) looks somehow incomplete to me. And for [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]… [name_f]Gen[/name_f] ([name_f]Jane[/name_f]?), [name_f]Ginny[/name_f], [name_f]Gigi[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Neve[/name_f] or [name_f]Viv/name_f, maybe?

I don’t like [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f] spelled with two 'n’s because it looks too long to me. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] might work as a nickname for [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], I hadn’t thought of that. Since you said you think you’re nixing [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f], I’m going to not even give any attention to her. [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] are my absolute favorites for you; I think [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_m]Lambert[/name_m] and [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_m]Lambert[/name_m] are absolutely gorgeous and to die for! :stuck_out_tongue:

Although I just noticed [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], and think I’m going to add [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] to the mix. [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_m]Lambert[/name_m] is beyond amazing, and [name_f]Ella[/name_f]'s perfect! I already see you as an [name_f]Ella[/name_f], if I’m being honest. An [name_f]Ella[/name_f], an [name_f]Evie[/name_f], or an [name_f]Anna[/name_f], but [name_f]Ella[/name_f] feels the most perfect in my mind. (I think [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f] could be [name_f]Ella[/name_f], too, for what it’s worth!)

I’m not terribly keen on either combo for [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], but it’s only because I’m like… picky and a half when it comes to [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. It took me MONTHS to settle on [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Simona[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] for my own list, and I’m not sure there’s one other [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] combo in the world that I actually love.

So yeah. [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]/[name_f]Violet[/name_f], I think! [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is also gorgeous. I’d suggest nns, but I feel like at this point you’ve probably seen them all? I can see you as an [name_f]Evie[/name_f], from what little exposure I’ve had to you, but there’s also [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Genna[/name_f], [name_f]Ginny[/name_f], [name_f]Gen[/name_f], [name_f]Neve[/name_f], [name_f]Vivi[/name_f], Vieve, [name_f]Geneva[/name_f], [name_f]Neva[/name_f], [name_f]Gigi[/name_f], [name_f]Genny[/name_f], maybe even [name_f]Ava[/name_f]/[name_u]Avi[/name_u]? As a huge stretch?

Yes, I’ve been through all the nicknames for [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] at this point. I like [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] and [name_f]Evie[/name_f], but they feels more kiddish, like they wouldn’t age well. Maybe some people could pull it off their whole life, but I couldn’t [name_f]Eva[/name_f] is my favourite right now. I do like your suggestion of [name_f]Ava[/name_f], though! Someone else also suggested [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (also a stretch) which I like. Thank you so much, again!

[name_f]Angelina[/name_f] is lovely. It’s my middle name so I’m going to be seriously biased. It’s similar to [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], but less… fiery, I guess, and less stands out. To me, [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] is soft and graceful. It’s elegant and a bit sexy (thanks, [name_f]Jolie[/name_f]), but not overly. Feminine, but not sickly sweet. I imagine someone who is smart, mature, friendly but not bubbly, rather quiet but can be assertive when needed. I obviously love this name, lol. Oh and bonus -it’s a stretch, but [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] can be nicknamed [name_f]Anna[/name_f] too. Not the most intuitive nickname ever, but it works.

[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is rather dramatic in my mind, but in the best way. I imagine long, flowy dark hair, creative streak, love of literature and perhaps theatre (not necessary, just my first thought). [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is sweet and romantic. Soft-spoken.
And [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_m]Lambert[/name_m] is seriously stunning.

With the exception of [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] (I’ve just never been a fan) I love every name on this list! [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] are my favorites! I like them all with the middle name [name_f]Violet[/name_f], a name that I also love. I like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] too.
