Hello, I’m new to the forum. I’m a 51-year-old mom of 1, but my niece, who is 30, is asking for assistance for naming her kid. She is 4 months pregnant and is unsure about the gender of the baby. Here is what she has at the moment. Let me know what you think!
Her name is [name_f]Alisha[/name_f] and her two children are named [name_f]Diana[/name_f] and [name_m]Cesar[/name_m].
I’m an adoptee from South Korea but she and her husband are white. She is of Norwegian and Dutch ancestry, while he is Belgian, Danish, [name_m]German[/name_m] and Swedish. So we look very different.
Thank you! I know, it’s refreshing, right? I’m just a boring woman named [name_f]Lynda[/name_f] (it’s not my birth name because I am a Korean adoptee, I was adopted by white American parents) and my niece is from the in-law side, so she’s fully white. My husband is of white Norwegian ancestry.
What sort of names are Ufuk, [name_u]Aurel[/name_u] and Amporn? Mythological?
With siblings [name_f]Diana[/name_f] and [name_m]Cesar[/name_m], I like these from her list
Girls:
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Marilyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Edith[/name_f]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwen[/name_f]
Instead of Francelia what about [name_f]Celia[/name_f]? [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]?
Boys:
[name_m]Isadore[/name_m]- (She had it on the girl side but I prefer it for a boy)
[name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m]
[name_m]Raphael[/name_m]
[name_f]Edit[/name_f]: Tried to quote above poster but it didn’t work!
This.
Especially as she’s listed [name_m]Braxton[/name_m] as one of her nieces choices. I’d be surprised she’d consider something so close to her cousins name.
My 18-year-old daughter is called [name_f]Lizbeth[/name_f] Braxtyn and I was born in 1969 so that’s where I came up with my username. She prefers to go by her middle name, so I used that. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t make assumptions.
My niece gets inspiration from everywhere, by the way. Including my child. She thought [name_f]Lizbeth[/name_f] didn’t fit in with her style, however.
