It’s a timeless classic that has never been too common but is easily spelled and pronounced, and has very cozy associations for me too [name_f][/name_f]— sounds friendly, smart, approachable. Agreeing with a partner on a name is also relatively rare so that does make it more special!
[name_f][/name_f]I also love [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] (nn Vinny!), [name_m]Lawrence[/name_m], and [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]— [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] has an endearing clunky/old-fashioned feeling, and I like the [name_f]Anne[/name_f] of [name_m]Green[/name_m] [name_m]Gables[/name_m] connection 
[name_f][/name_f] and [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] has always sounded like a perfect combination of strong and soft to me. [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] and [name_m]Lawrence[/name_m] have a kind of dashing quality, a bit more sleek/stylish sounding. [name_m]Peter[/name_m] feels more on the cozy-classic end, more like [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. [name_m]Franklin[/name_m] and [name_m]Edward[/name_m] are solid and could feel surprising and fresh on a kid.
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_m]Milo[/name_m] are also favorites but they’ve lost a bit of shine for me with the rise in popularity, alas!
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] is super fun and does have a spunky energy! I’m not sure why but I might have the same reservations about actually using it, but it’s one of those names I’d be excited to see used by others.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]My[/name_f] first association with [name_m]Rory[/name_m] is [name_m]Rory[/name_m] [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m], the daughter character in [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m] Girls, which is probably a common association for Americans…But I have met men named [name_m]Rory[/name_m] who wore it well.
