Hello, I’d like to get your opinions on my useable names and my gp names that I like. (Note: by unusable I mean that I know my family will probably dislike it)

[name_f]Heather[/name_f] ~ lovely botanical name great imagery very pretty choice
[name_u]Salem[/name_u] ~ a sweet choice with biblical connections I think [name_u]Salem[/name_u] is great
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] ~ very upbeat and I really like the Mockingbird association
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] ~ been loving this off recent I think [name_u]Piper[/name_u] is fab
[name_u]Kelby[/name_u] ~ not a massive fan doesn’t have the best sound to me
[name_u]Milo[/name_u] ~ I love for a boy really happy sounding
[name_u]River[/name_u] ~ a gorgeous nature name really sweet and has lovely imagery attached
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] ~ such a cool fiery name
[name_u]Colby[/name_u] ~ not a massive fan of [name_u]Colby[/name_u] prefer [name_u]Corey[/name_u]
[name_f]Mary[/name_f] ~ I absolutely love [name_f]Mary[/name_f] such a classic with great associations definitely deserves to be used more commonly
[name_f]Ida[/name_f] ~ a really sweet sappy name
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f] ~ not my favourite I think she just feels a bit too flamboyant for me
[name_f]Lilou[/name_f] ~ I absolutely love lily names including this one she’s so gorgeous and elegant
[name_m]Nekoda[/name_m] ~ completely understand the appeal but not a favourite
[name_u]Cove[/name_u] ~ a lovely soft nature name that sounds delicate and pretty.
[name_f]Hermione[/name_f] ~ I love [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] she feels ethereal and whimsical such a great choice
[name_u]Nemi[/name_u] ~ a cool short name that feels interesting
[name_u]Hero[/name_u] ~ I’ve always been a sucker for [name_u]Hero[/name_u] love as a middle name something like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Hero[/name_u]
[name_u]Bodhi[/name_u] ~ love such a handsome boho boy name

Like: [name_u]Salem[/name_u], [name_u]Harper[/name_u], [name_u]River[/name_u], [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u], [name_f]Mary[/name_f] (same as [name_f]Ida[/name_f], I’d love to meet more Marys), [name_u]Cove[/name_u], [name_f]Hermione[/name_f], [name_u]Nemi[/name_u] (didn’t think I’d like this, but something about the quirky cuteness gets me), [name_u]Bodhi[/name_u]
Not my cup of tea: [name_u]Kelby[/name_u], [name_u]Colby[/name_u], [name_m]Nekoda[/name_m] (this actually looks pretty cool but something about it doesn’t quite click with me – definitely see the appeal though)

I will do the same and put them into categories:
Love: Hermione (my daughter’s name 
), Mary, Phoenix (only for a boy but I love it 
), River, Milo, Harper, Heather
Like: Cove, Ida, Colby, Piper (all of these are lovely names but I wouldn’t use - I can definitely see the appeal in them though!)
NMS: Bohdi, Hero, Nemi, Nekoda, Lilou, Boheme, Kelby, Salem

Heather - rugged but sweet
Salem -this has cool witchy vibes
Harper -literary and cool
Piper -bright and cheerful
Kelby - cute and bubbly
Milo - cheerful and fun
River - sleek and stylish
Phoenix -fresh and fiery
Colby - bouncy and warm
Mary -classic and unexpected these days
Ida -sharp but sweet
Boheme -bold and interesting though I’m never quite sure how i want to pronounce it 
Lilou - cutesy but stylish
Nekoda -sharp and cool
Cove -love the natural, beachy vibe

Nemi -ooh never heard this before -i like it

Here are my immediate thoughts on reading your lists:
[name_f]Heather[/name_f] – It’s a bit dated, tbh, but it’s fine.
[name_u]Salem[/name_u] – Not a fan personally. (It’s just too tied to the witch trials for me, and I really don’t like that thought.)
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] – Honestly just not a fan of the sound.
[name_u]Harper[/name_u], [name_u]Piper[/name_u], [name_u]Kelby[/name_u], [name_u]Milo[/name_u], [name_u]River[/name_u], & [name_u]Colby[/name_u] are nms, but I think they are all right.
[name_f]Mary[/name_f] – Yes! Bring [name_f]Mary[/name_f] back!
[name_f]Ida[/name_f] – It’s got a lot of old-fashioned charm, and I’d love to meet with it irl.
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f] – Stunning!
[name_f]Hermione[/name_f] – Don’t care for the sound, personally. And also it’s very HP – not necessarily a bad thing, but it is a strong association.
[name_f]Lilou[/name_f] – Mmm…it’s a little cutesy, but it’s okay.
[name_u]Hero[/name_u], [name_u]Cove[/name_u], & [name_u]Bodhi[/name_u] – Nms, but very cool!
