our baby girl is due in may and i’d like to have the name picked out early. we would like to use the middle name [name]Mae[/name] after both our great grandmothers. our son’s name is Townsend [name]Hayes[/name] and we call him Townes most of the time. Here’s my top five list, please help me narrow it down or add some suggestions of your own. We realize that [name]Mae[/name] will not fit with all of these names so even middle name suggestions are welcome. thanks so much for your help!
From your list I’d use [name]Tallulah[/name] [name]Mae[/name] or [name]Stella[/name] [name]Mae[/name]. Not crazy about the others and none go with the mn [name]Mae[/name]. [name]Laura[/name] or [name]Lora[/name] [name]Mae[/name] is a nice combination.
[name]Tallula[/name] [name]Mae[/name] works. I like the [name]Lula[/name] part. You might like: [name]Elula[/name], [name]Eulalia[/name], [name]Luella[/name] or [name]Louisa[/name]. I don’t know if you want two T names…
[name]Sierra[/name] [name]Mae[/name] works too, but I prefer [name]Sienna[/name]. [name]Sierra[/name] and [name]Sienna[/name] are not as cool and different as Townsend though!
You might like [name]Sabella[/name] instead of [name]Sable[/name]. [name]Sabella[/name] [name]Mae[/name] is lovely.
[name]Wren[/name] is nice, but I like [name]Ren[/name] for a boy. No, [name]Wren[/name] [name]Mae[/name] just doesn’t work.
[name]Stella[/name] [name]Mae[/name] sounds nice, but I prefer [name]Estelle[/name] or [name]Estella[/name].
Since two of the names on your list are animal names, you might like [name]Starling[/name].
You could try [name]Maeve[/name] as the mn instead, if the fn you chose doesn’t sound right with mn [name]Mae[/name]. [name]Mae[/name] is also a diminutive of [name]Margaret[/name].
Out of this list I like [name]Sable[/name] the most. I like [name]Wren[/name] as well. [name]Tallulah[/name] is a bit matchy with your son’s name. [name]Sierra[/name] and [name]Stella[/name] feel slightly dated to me.
I love [name]Tallulah[/name] [name]Mae[/name] (that spelling), but then I agree with the first poster that you would have to continue with T names when you have more children.
I love [name]Wren[/name] too but [name]Mae[/name] doesn’t go well with it.
