So my top two names for my baby girl are [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] and [name]Fiona[/name] Breen.
Opinions on which you like better? Breen is my middle name and has been passed down the family for 4 generations. However, I have always loved [name]Celeste[/name] and it is my grandmother’s name. Hubby doens’t mind either but I don’t think he is crazy about them. He likes [name]Penelope[/name] which I do not.
I [name]ADORE[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] and [name]Fiona[/name], both are so adorable! I love that you are passing along your middle name too [name]Juniper[/name] just isn’t for me, but it isn’t a bad name, though the nn [name]Junie[/name] is adorable!
I am in the predicament where I like [name]Juniper[/name] and I like Breen. I don’t mind [name]Fiona[/name] but find it a little dated still while I dislike [name]Celeste[/name] for no particular reason. Since both middle names are honouring and are never used as much as the first names I would go for [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] - as I think that [name]Juniper[/name] is cute as well as strong
[name]Juniper[/name] is one of my favorites, and I especially love the nn [name]Juni[/name].
I love the uniqueness and tradition of Breen, it seems like a really special name. [name]Fiona[/name] Breen is lovely!
I would suggest [name]Juniper[/name] Breen, though it sounds a little clunkier. What about [name]Junia[/name]? [name]Junia[/name] Breen sounds amazing.
[name]Juniper[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] goes best with [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] in my opinion. They both have the slightly different first names and then traditional, widely-known middles. Plus, if you gave your middle name to your second daughter, I feel like your first daughter may feel a bit left out, unless she has a family name as well.
I rather like [name]Celeste[/name] but I really don’t understand the appeal of [name]Juniper[/name]. I think [name]Fiona[/name] Breen is lovely and the family connection gives it my vote.
While I prefer [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] as a combo vastly (so cute!), I think [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Fiona[/name] are phenomenal for sisters. They just go so well, and don’t have that nature-color connection [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Juniper[/name] would have (which makes them less matchy). I think stylistically, [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Fiona[/name] are a lovely pair.
The spunky [name]Juniper[/name] would be a great sibling for [name]Scarlett[/name]. I love [name]Celeste[/name] as a mn too! Have you considered [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] as a combo?
I really like [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Celeste[/name]. [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] Breen would be nice too! I think [name]Juniper[/name] sounds best with sibling [name]Scarlett[/name]. They would be so beautiful as a sibset. I don’t care for [name]Fiona[/name] at all.
Wow guys…thanks for all the input! I have many more combos to consider now. I must get hubby on board but he wasn’t opposed to my names so that’s a start. And just an FYI [name]Elizabeth[/name] is my first name so my DD has that has her middle name. We almost named DD [name]Fiona[/name] but went with [name]Scarlett[/name]. And [name]Fiona[/name] is still on my mind. BUT I just love [name]Celeste[/name] as a middle name and [name]Juniper[/name] is so fun to me. I think [name]Juni[/name] is so cute! But then my middle name Breen will die out…lol so much to decide!
Hmm…
[name]Juniper[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] - For me I really want to love [name]Juniper[/name] but for me the name sounds like ‘Jew-nipper’ and that isn’t great as I’m Jewish (well my mother is, meaning I am) but I do understand the attraction. [name]Celeste[/name] is lovely, I do think [name]Celeste[/name] is gorgeous. I would prefer maybe [name]Juno[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] or [name]June[/name] [name]Celeste[/name]?
[name]Fiona[/name] Breen - [name]Fiona[/name] feels really wholesome, rural and elegant. I love [name]Fiona[/name]! [name]Fiona[/name] sounds gorgeous with Breen. The combination feels very Scottish, rural and wholesome. I generally love it!
[name]Juniper[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] all the way. Plain and simple
It has a GREAT flow to it and neither name is to bizarre or overused.
not to fond of [name]Fiona[/name] Breen to do the animated movie Shrek where the ogar is named [name]Fiona[/name].
[name]Fiona[/name] seems more wearable to me in real life than [name]Juniper[/name], but it depends how brave of a namer you are because I would probably use [name]Juniper[/name] myself and cute nn [name]June[/name] helps
I like the connection you have to Breen, but I want to honour my grandmother with my daughter’s name more than anything and I absolutely adore [name]Celeste[/name] so I’m leaning towards that. [name]Both[/name] are such meaningful middle names though that you can’t go wrong.
It was a close call but I vote [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Celeste[/name]. It’s just a really beautiful, stylish combo, and has personal meaning to you.
