My Wife is being induced tomorrow Please HELP!

So we are bad at this naming thing. My son was named [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Eric[/name_m] Lafate [name_m]Elmore[/name_m] the two middle names we had way in advance, [name_m]Eric[/name_m] was my wife’s brothers name (he was killed in Iraq), Lafate is a family name from my side. We wanted an unusual name for him but couldn’t compromise on one (I like Kiernen) so [name_u]Jude[/name_u] was the back up.

5 years later expecting again and again middle name is picked, it will either be [name_f]Maria[/name_f] or [name_f]Marie[/name_f] for her mother. We like biblical names or names with God in mind or purity. We thought another j name would be cute but are stumped. We like unusual but don’t want it to be hard to say my wife’s is and people kill it.

Full Disclosure my name is [name_m]Stephen[/name_m] and my wife’s is Xochil (you say it So-Chee).

Names I like:
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f]
[name_f]Evelia[/name_f]

Names she likes:
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Monique[/name_f]

Any Help would be greatly appreciated!

I think that [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] & [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] are my favorites from this list. I think [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] & [name_u]Jude[/name_u] work really well together. They both feel modern to me, but have that biblical side and are uncommon. My suggestions are [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] & [name_f]Cassia[/name_f]. The J idea only works for me if you use something that doesn’t have the matching Ju beginning like [name_u]Jude[/name_u]/[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. Like, [name_u]Jude[/name_u] & [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] work for me, but [name_u]Jude[/name_u] & [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] feel too similar for my tastes. To each his own, of course, just my opinion  The name [name_f]Jana[/name_f] means “fruits of paradise” which is similar to [name_f]Avalon[/name_f]'s meaning. It could be one way to get to the matching J initials and I think it’s a very pretty name!

Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]!

eek! tomorrow!

[name_f]Antoinette[/name_f]
[name_f]Angelica[/name_f]
[name_f]Violette[/name_f]
[name_f]Gabriella[/name_f]
[name_f]Junia[/name_f]
[name_f]Justine[/name_f]
[name_f]Katrina[/name_f]
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f]

I know [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] share the Ju- beginning, but I just love [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] (would use it myself if I could!) and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] is beautiful

Good luck!

She’s called Xochil and her brother was [name_m]Eric[/name_m]?? [name_m]How[/name_m] did that happen?

From your names I like [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] and [name_f]Avalon[/name_f]
Suggestions:
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] - similar sound to [name_f]Evelia[/name_f] but you said you wanted easy to pronounce, and this may just be me, but I don’t know how I would pronounce [name_f]Evelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] - because it means pledged to God and I think it goes well with [name_u]Jude[/name_u]
Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]

What about [name_f]Juliana[/name_f]? Has the Ju- in [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] but has the girliness vibe your names have. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] are quiet a cute sib set [name_f]IMO[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is probably too similar to [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. Maybe you could compromise and use it as a second middle, since your son has two anyway? [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] [name_f]Maria[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] or [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] both sound nice.

I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]! It is so pretty! Definitely my favorite. My second favorite is [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] (it’s sounds pretty similar to [name_u]Jude[/name_u] though), and then [name_f]Avalon[/name_f].

Good luck!

[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] is gorgeous. [name_f]Evelia[/name_f] looks pretty but I am not sure how to pronounce it. [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] is pretty but it’s not my favorite. If you want biblical [name_u]Eden[/name_u] is pretty and it sounds really nice with [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] is my favorite from your list.
more ideas-
[name_f]Jemma[/name_f]/[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Jovana[/name_f]
[name_f]Jordana[/name_f]

I love both [name_f]Evelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]!

[name_f]Evelia[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] [name_m]Elmore[/name_m], or [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Evelia[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] [name_m]Elmore[/name_m]?

I don’t know if thats too uncommon if she comes from a mixed race family. I know a family here in [name_f]Canada[/name_f] who are half Japanese & half Scottish/[name_m]German[/name_m] mix. Their kids are [name_m]William[/name_m], Sayuri, [name_m]Michael[/name_m] & Kiyomi. The girls have English middles and the boys’ middle names are Japanese.

I adore [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f]! Have you thought about [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], possibly nicknamed [name_u]Jo[/name_u] or [name_u]Josie[/name_u] or [name_f]Posey[/name_f]? It’s Biblical, meaning “Jehovah increases.” Another suggestion is [name_f]Janice[/name_f]. It comes from [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and is therefore also Biblical (without looking too matchy-matchy next to [name_u]Jude[/name_u]), and it means “God’s gracious gift.” [name_f]Janice[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] [name_m]Elmore[/name_m] sounds so pretty to me!

And congratulations!

I like the idea of both names starting with J, but for some reason [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] don’t sound that great together for me.
However, I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] the name [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]. There are so many beautiful nickname options with that name too ([name_f]Stasia[/name_f] being my favorite). I also think [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] sound well as a sibset. My second favorite from your list is [name_f]Avalon[/name_f]. This name is very unique and I also think it goes well with [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. I like [name_f]Evelia[/name_f] too, but I worry about how people will pronounce it, especially since you specifically said you don’t want to deal with those issues.
What about [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]? That is kind of a mixture of [name_f]Evelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Avalon[/name_f].
Other names that come to mind…
[name_u]Emory[/name_u]/[name_u]Emery[/name_u]
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u]
[name_u]Ellison[/name_u]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Melody[/name_f]

I just think these names sound great with [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and are feminine like the ones on your list.

Best of luck!!!

I like [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].

If you’re taking suggestions:
[name_f]Jessamine[/name_f]
[name_f]Jemima[/name_f]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is my favorite on your list! One of my personal favorites.

[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] nn [name_u]Josie[/name_u]?

I vote for [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f].

#1 [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]
#2 [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
#3 [name_f]Avalon[/name_f]

[name_f]Jasmin[/name_f] as a middle name?

[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]?
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]?

Thanks so much for all the suggestions everybody! I told my wife after I did this and she was surprised how many of you responded with great choices. When we decide i’ll come back on here and let you guys know.
