Myatt

I am falling in love with this name more and more each day it’s pronounced My-att. What are your thoughts on this name I love it as both a first and middle name for a little boy

I don’t really like it, it kind of sounds like [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u], just severely mispronounced

First impression as this is the first time I’ve heard it: it’s got odd made up vibes as it feels like [name_m]Matt[/name_m] meets [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u], but the more I think about it, the more I find it quite sweet?
Where do you know it from? BTN has it listed as a last name that comes from [name_u]Michael[/name_u].

Spoilering this, in case you don’t want to hear about an unfortunate association that might not be relevant to you, but it reminds me of ’ mite ’ the way it’d sound in some UK accents. And a little bit like the word mytosis, but that’s a neutral association  Other than that, I think it works! It does feel rather made up, which isn’t my cup of tea, but it could fit in nicely with names like [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u] and [name_u]Micah[/name_u]! Kind of like a combination of the two, so for me it shares the same qualities: modern, trendy, cowboyish!

Not my favourite, but I might just need time to get used to it. It reminds me of [name_m]Myron[/name_m], [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u], [name_m]Malakai[/name_m], [name_m]Truett[/name_m] and [name_u]Michael[/name_u] it seems like it could work.

I know someone with this as a surname so it definitely gives surname vibes.

Not a fan :upside_down_face: reminds me of [name_u]Hyatt[/name_u] or [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u] . The my sound names are nice though

To me it seems like a made up version of [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u], or [name_f]Maya[/name_f] / [name_f]Maia[/name_f] with a T on the end.

I love the name Myatt. Sounds so nice. Like the one poster said, seems like a masc version of Maya/Mya!
