My husband came home from work excitedly telling me of a pretty Gaelic girl’s name he found. Although he can’t remember. It starts with an S…and then it’s either an a, o, or e…and there’s maybe an r or an n or an i…
Any ideas??
(totally sweet of him to share his first name discovery with me, I will overlook his neglect to write it down )
It sounds like it might be [name]Saoirse[/name]? Which I’ve heard is pronounced SEER-sha and SAIR-shah. It’s pretty, but a bit too unusual for me. Until you listed some of the letters involved, I thought it might be [name]Sinead[/name], too.
Thanks for all the input! He’s such a man, he literally can’t remember, although when I said [name]Saoirse[/name] he said “uh…sure!” and when I said [name]Siobhan[/name] he said NO! so I guess that narrows it down =) We’ve only just barely-not-really started looking at names (although I’ve been keeping a list since forever) so I don’t really know his naming style yet.
