I think every single one of those are usable except maybe Sulis and Morgaus (but those would be fine in the middle).
I [name]LOVE[/name] all of those and am planning on using [name]Persephone[/name] and [name]Guinevere[/name] and the rest are on my GP list. Again, absolutely adore all of these
Igraine is a little to close to migraine. Aside from that I think almost all are usable…some are even familiar to most people. None are my style but [name]Freya[/name] is cute.
I love [name]Athena[/name], [name]Artemis[/name], and [name]Minerva[/name] and would love to use at least one of them in some way! I’d say the unusable names are Morgause, Sulis, and Igraine. I know a baby [name]Persephone[/name], but I am not really a fan of the name. It doesn’t seem to fit on a baby…I think she at least needs a nickname but her parents only call her [name]Persephone[/name].
I love love love this list! Whenever I start building a girls list from scratch, I begin with mythological names. Anyway, I think most of these are usable. I am especially fond of [name]Avalon[/name] and [name]Guinevere[/name], but since my favorite boys name right now is [name]Arthur[/name], I’m trying not go get too Knights of the Round Table on my poor hubby… Haha. I will echo everyone else and say that Sulis and Morgause are not easily usable except perhaps in a middle spot. I never realized Igraine was so close to migraine. I don’t think it would stop me from using it. People are plenty familiar with her name now I think and it would be received well.
Igraine, Morgause, and Sulis aren’t as usable as some of the other names you have on your list. Igraine sounds like migraine, Morgaus sounds like “more gauze”, and Sulis just doesn’t sound as pretty as some of the others.
I adore [name]Persephone[/name], [name]Athena[/name], [name]Maeve[/name], and [name]Avalon[/name]! They could all work amazingly well as first names.
I really love [name]Artemis[/name], [name]Guinevere[/name], and [name]Minerva[/name] for middle names.
[name]Calliope[/name] just makes me think of cantaloupe melon, so maybe [name]Calista[/name] or [name]Calypso[/name] could replace [name]Calliope[/name]?
I agree with the others, all useable except Igraine, Morgause and Sulis. [name]Calliope[/name], [name]Artemis[/name], [name]Isolde[/name], [name]Morgaine[/name] and [name]Athena[/name] are always hanging around on my lists…
I think all of these names a awesome and I could see any of them on a child except for Morgause,Igraine, and sulis. Also, I take it someone has been reading the Mists of [name]Avalon[/name] recently
I’ve known a little girl named [name]Calliope[/name] and an adorable baby named [name]Freya[/name]. [name]Both[/name] names suited them well.
