I love [name_u]Sloane[/name_u]!
Sorry, but [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] might be one of the names I genuinely dislike. I immediately think “slow” and “slovenly”. And I think “sloan” means elephant in Slavic languages, which is of course not a problem unless you live in one of Slavic countries, but it just doesn’t help me lmao
And I also really like [name_f]Nadine[/name_f]!
“Sloan” does not mean elephant, rather the word “slon” does.
As for the two names, I much prefer Sloane to Nadine. You might also like Salome, Sabine and Paloma!
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
I think that [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] feels prettier & sleeker. [name_f]Nadine[/name_f] is kind of fun & feels different. But I just find [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] smart & elegant whereas [name_f]Nadine[/name_f] feels a tad dated. Both great choices though!
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
i like both haha, my vote was neutralized-
I love both but [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] has a slight edge here
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Nadine[/name_f]! Feels very old school and needs a revival.
I really love [name_f]Nadine[/name_f]! It feels classic but also isn’t used a lot (at least in the uk). In my opinion it has more personality to it as well
I really like [name_u]Sloane[/name_u]! I think it’s both cute and somehow hits feminine while feeling strong and ultimately being a gender-neutral name. I like the whole vibe of it, and it has so many positive associations!
[name_f]Nadine[/name_f] has never been a favorite of mine, though there are several positive associations for me (Nadine Brandes, for one – very cool author friend of mine). But I still think of a character in a book (A [name_u]Bird[/name_u] in the Tree by [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Gouge) that I have mixed feelings about.
[name_f]Nadine[/name_f].
