🌅 Naemi

I found this name in my family tree. It’s pronounce na-EH-mee. It is another version of [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] and appears in some translations of the Bible.

[name_f][/name_f]

I like its meaning and pleasant sound

What are your thoughts on [name_f]Naemi[/name_f]? Which image do you get? What would a [name_f]Naemi[/name_f] be like and her parents?

At the moment I like:

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Naemi[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f]

[name_f][/name_f]

I feel like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] goes well with it, but I also like it as a given name.

it’s a tiny bit awkward when I say it but sure it’s not a problem for everyone. I think it’s beautiful and warm like Naomi :sunny:

[name_f]Naemi[/name_f] is a pretty, gentle, and unique choice! However, it’s a bit difficult to say on an everyday basis and I think it would often be mistaken (mispronounced/misspelled) as Naomi/Noemi. So for these reasons, I would be most likely to use it as a middle name-Lily [name_f]Naemi[/name_f] is lovely!

[name_f]Noemi[/name_f] has been one of of my favorites for awhile. [name_f]Naemi[/name_f] feels similar, I like its soft open sound. And I love finding hidden gems on the family tree! I would worry in my accent/area the name would inevitably end up being pronounced nigh-mee. But in the middle I don’t think you’d run into this problem as it wouldnt be an every day multiple times a day thing

The first thing I though of, I though of [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] and that it may be spelling variation. [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] is used in some European countries.

I love [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] and know a young girl with that name so would choose that spelling. [name_f]Naemi[/name_f] has similar sounds but I’m just not familiar with it and maybe it’s just me but otherwise I think [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] would be easier to wear.

I like it more than I thought I did originally… [name_f][/name_f] I was assuming it would be said NAY-mee. [name_f][/name_f] I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] in general but I love [name_f]Noemi[/name_f]. [name_f][/name_f] I definitely prefer [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] of the bunch. [name_f][/name_f] For some reason I think Japanese with [name_f]Naemi[/name_f] though I couldn’t say why. [name_f][/name_f] I imagine delicate little birds, Mt. [name_m]Fuji[/name_m] capped in snow, and delicate, fragrant breezes.

I do find it harder to say than [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] or [name_f]Noemi[/name_f], maybe because I’m more familiar with them? [name_f][/name_f] I don’t like that [name_f]Lily[/name_f] & [name_f]Naemi[/name_f] end with the ee sound but I agree that stylistically, [name_f]Lily[/name_f] & [name_f]Naemi[/name_f] are nice together. [name_f][/name_f] If you’re thinking [name_f]Naemi[/name_f] as a first, I like these in theory:

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Naemi[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Naemi[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Naemi[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Naemi[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Naemi[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
