We will be naming our daughter Persephone Alexandria Rhea Izharia
last name begins with an M.
nick name, from intials, is Pari [means fairy].
Note, we come from a family of multiple middle names, we have multiple middle names, and all our children will have multiple middle name. We would like general advice on how all the names sound/flow together. Wondering what may flow better instead of Alexandria and Rhea
@quietosprey I agree that they sound very rhymey and don’t flow together as well. I’m wondering what middle name I could use for [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] that begins with an A and flows well with a name that begins with an R that would go well with Izharia. Any ideas?
[name_u]Welcome[/name_u] to Nameberry! [name_f]Pari[/name_f] is such a clever nickname for initials PARI.
How are you pronouncing [name_f]Rhea[/name_f]? If it’s like REE-uh, I think it is repetitive with AlexandRIA and IzhaRIA (and [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] and Izharia are a bit rhymey together as well).
[name_f]Pari[/name_f] is a pretty natural nn to me since [name_m]Per[/name_m]- is right there too. While I think [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] (like ray?) flows better, I prefer [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] is a beautiful name
@vel thank you so much for your input! We pronounce [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] as RAY-uh. Izharia is a name I don’t think exhists as I made that to honour my beloved grandfather.
@VEL what would you recommend instead of [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] in [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] Izharia?
I LOOOVE how [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] Izharia sounds but I want a middle name that begins with an R to go between [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] and Izharia.
I would prefer a shorter A name following [name_f]Persephone[/name_f], but if the R name is the main one you’d like to change, I would suggest an R name that doesn’t end in the -ah / -uh sound. Others have given you great suggestions, so here’s just a few more:
I might be pronouncing something wrong maybe, but not too rhyme’y to me at all. I think they are balanced out pretty nicely, I love when a name sounds a bit like a ballet or like a little song.
Persephone Alexandria Rhea Izharia is very very cool and beautiful! And Pari is soo clever and pretty! The flow is less important to me than the fact that all the middles sound gorgeous alone. And they totally do. But here the flow is okey imo.
Today I’m liking Alessandra a bit more than Alexandria. And Rhea is so epic!
