I have two children, my daughter, [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Avalon[/name_f], and my son, [name_m]Lochlin[/name_m] Emmeric. My husband and I loved the name [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] Grae (grey) for a girl however I feel [name_u]Grey[/name_u]/[name_u]Gray[/name_u] is becoming a very popular name. So I went searching and I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] the name Prim. However, I would prefer it as a middle name, I just am not sure I love the flow with [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]. [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] Prim. SO I have been looking for other names that fit our “style” and so we can use Prim. We love unique, different, some older names. I also love quirky kinda names. Like I love the name [name_f]Reverie[/name_f], but my hubs wasn’t excited about it. He liked [name_f]Esme[/name_f] Prim but I was not a fan of [name_f]Esme[/name_f]. SO! Help ladies…oh did I mention we are not even sure what sex we are having and haven’t even given a boys name much thought. So, if you also have any boy names you think would look great with our kiddo’s names, please share!!! We love any input!!!

[name_u]Gray[/name_u]/[name_u]Grey[/name_u] is popular for a mn-- but since [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] is more unusual, I think it’s fine to have a more popular mn and [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] Grae/[name_u]Grey[/name_u] works well as a combination. But, if you are looking for something different, what about [name_f]Faye[/name_f] or [name_u]Rain[/name_u] instead? [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] or [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u] both work well. I also think [name_f]Prudence[/name_f] Grae or [name_f]Temperance[/name_f] Grae work well. While I don’t mind Prim as a nn for [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], I don’t really care for Prim as a mn-- it seems too strident-- what about [name_f]Plum[/name_f] instead? [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], [name_f]Callista[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], etc.

I think davisellu gave you some pretty good suggestions! But I just wanted you to be aware…with the popularity of The Hunger Game, Prim is probably going to skyrocket very soon (if it hasn’t begun to already) and probably moreso than [name_u]Grey[/name_u]. So if you’re concerned with trendiness I would avoid Prim.
What about [name_m]Callum[/name_m] for a boy?
I like [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]. 
You could also do [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_u]Jay[/name_u] and call her CJ.

I love ALL these suggestions!!! I really love [name_m]Anselm[/name_m] for a boy! I totally will be sharing that with the hubs and I think you ladies have really sold me on [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] again!! LOL I was feeling iffy about it but I loved it and you girls have just made me love it more!!! I think I need to explore other middle names though! I think while I love Grae and Prim they are both going to get to popular for our kid names. Any thoughts on a middle name for [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]??
