Hello everyone! [name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I are expecting our daughter in [name_u]March[/name_u], and we’ve narrowed it down to our top 2. It’s a 50/50 toss-up, so I’m hoping to get some outside opinions. Please let me know which you prefer!
I prefer [name_f]Paige[/name_f] to [name_f]Cora[/name_f] as a name, but I think [name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] is a little choppy and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] has really nice flow. [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] is cute!
I prefer [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u]! But I might even prefer [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u].
Hello and welcome! I think both names are lovely, but I really love the playfulness of [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u]. It sounds so sweet and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] sounds like a protagonist in a novel. It’s incredibly charming.
I love [name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f] Gr3y but for some reason I keep associating it with [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] from 50 shades.
Cora!! [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is seriously so gorgeous, and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] is such a charming, pretty name. [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] is really sweet.
Paige is nice but I like that [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] isn’t as abrupt as [name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]? [name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] almost sounds descriptive, too, like a gray page. I do like the longer middle with [name_f]Paige[/name_f], though, and like the idea of something like [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]/Cora [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]? I think it flows a bit smoother than [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]. Either is super lovely, though. Good luck!
I like [name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f]. Thats so refreshing and stunning and I love [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f]! But without middle names [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] flows nicer than [name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] although I find [name_f]Cora[/name_f] a bit overdone and dull and I’m not a such fan of [name_u]Brooke[/name_u].
I dont particularly like the back to back single syllable MN, LN of Cora Brook Gray.
Also, Cora Gray is a little tiresome on the mouth. Lots of American R’s going on. You can basically say Cora Gray without really moving your mouth so long as you keep it in a terse position.
Paige Gray , on the other hand, rolls off the tongue effortlessly and euphonically. Paige Gray is the more elegant pairing, IMO
I think [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u]! [name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] is a little bit of a mouthful, and I think [name_f]Cora[/name_f] is an absolute delight.
For the whole name flow I’d go for [name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f] but for the FN LN flow I’d go for [name_f]Cora[/name_f] so that’s a toss up.
