[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone, I’m 7 weeks away from meeting this baby and still no name! PANIC.
We’ve been going back and forth a lot between different names such as [name_m]Tom[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Jack[/name_m], and [name_u]Emery[/name_u]. But at the end of the day, even our top 4 doesn’t feel like it contains a winner. It’s so frustrating!
There were a few names we loved, only to realize that they have been stolen by girls in the past few years. [name_m]Just[/name_m] like [name_u]Emery[/name_u] … we were THIS close to settling for it, but then it seems like it’s been ruined by team pink. It sucks.
I’m completely out of ideas at this point. I don’t like old fashioned biblical names like [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]. [name_f]Nor[/name_f] do I like last names used as first names; especially those ending with “son”. Pffft. Any suggestions? [name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to post hundreds!
[name_u]Sam[/name_u]
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]
[name_m]Hank[/name_m]
[name_m]Nolan[/name_m]
[name_u]Rory[/name_u]
[name_m]Calvin[/name_m]
[name_m]Levi[/name_m]
[name_m]Nate[/name_m]
Or just stick with [name_u]Emory[/name_u]. I’ve never met one of either gender.
I say if you love [name_u]Emery[/name_u] that much you should use it. I’ve never met someone with it as a first name (I do know a family with it as their last name). But here are some other ideas. I’m sorry for any repeats.
[name_m]Kiefer[/name_m]
[name_m]Wiley[/name_m]
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]
[name_m]Emmerich[/name_m]
[name_u]Barrett[/name_u]
[name_u]Mercer[/name_u]
[name_m]Miles[/name_m]
[name_m]Jarvis[/name_m]
[name_u]Jem[/name_u] or [name_m]Jeremy[/name_m] nn [name_u]Jem[/name_u] or [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m] nn [name_u]Jem[/name_u]
[name_m]Rupert[/name_m]
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
As some said before, if you love [name_u]Emery[/name_u], use it! I don’t know any people named [name_u]Emery[/name_u] and if I heard it, I wouldn’t assume it was a girl. Let us know what you choose!
Thanks everyone! There are some nice suggestions here. I wrote some down and will spend the next few days saying them out loud and see how I feel about them.
My husband just started naming the baby [name_u]Emery[/name_u] again today lol Maybe we’ll stick to that after all? I’ve heard some negative comments about [name_u]Emery[/name_u], so now I’m even scared to share it with the rest of our family. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though - quite honestly - part of me still kind of loves it.
