Hello everyone, I am pregnant with my third daughter and fifth child. My daughters’ names are [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and [name_u]Josie[/name_u] [name_u]Clair[/name_u] and my sons’ names are [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_u]Bradley[/name_u] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. I would like a name that is classic/vintage and I really like the idea of having a name from my family history. Below are some choices that my husband and I like. [name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to suggest names or alter any of the name orders.
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is my favorite!
I like the suggestions of [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f], and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], and I’d like to suggest [name_f]Verity[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f]/[name_f]Elena[/name_f], and [name_f]Etta[/name_f]!
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] has my vote!
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] was a close second, and I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Nell[/name_f]’
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] “[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]”-This is pretty nice, & it goes well w/your crew.
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]-This is good too, & less common. I love [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] & [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] as nns. Although I like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] quite a bit, this doesn’t flow that well, in my opinion. [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] are better.
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]-This is way too boyish. Especially w/[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] & [name_u]Josie[/name_u], which are obviously girl names.
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-Kind of cute, & goes really well w/[name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_u]Josie[/name_u], [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] & [name_m]Jack[/name_m].
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]-This is nice, but too close to [name_m]Matthew[/name_m], right?
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] "[name_f]Nell[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]-I love it! I prefer [name_f]Nellie[/name_f], but both are good.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]-I love this too! Less common than the rest, & so so sweet.
I like [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but it begins with the same sound as [name_u]Josie[/name_u], therefore my favorite would be [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] would be a great first name.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] “[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]” - [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Lottie[/name_f], and I feel like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] lends itself to an uncommon middle, like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u].
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] - Sweet and pretty, makes me think of [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] peach.
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - Initially misread this as [name_f]Queen[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]! If you’re set on [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] as a first I would personally consider another middle name. Edit: Lucy Quinn is cute, sounds a bit like Lucy-kins but that’s not a bad thing!
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] - FAVE, perfect combo and fits so well with all her siblings
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] - Very pretty but agree with pp that [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] do seem a little similar to be calling out.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] "[name_f]Nell[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] - Also gorgeous but lacks a bit of the fire that [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] has.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] - Second fave, just love it!
A few more ideas just in case you didn’t have enough GORGEOUS names already!!
[name_f]Irene[/name_f] [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Nina[/name_f] [name_f]Matilde[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]
[name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
Oh my gosh, how did I not realize that “[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]” sounds like [name_f]Queen[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]?! When I told my husband he started cracking up thanks for your lovely tips!
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] are great! I also like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] ([name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]?) And [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] (though it’s a bit close to [name_m]Matthew[/name_m])
I really like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]’. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is a lovely name, and the nickname is just adorable. I also like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] just feels a bit too ‘now’, due to its current popularity growth. All the others fit really well with your children.
Oooh this is a tough one. I think my favorite is [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]… But I do adore [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]. And [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] is so darling. And [name_f]Nell[/name_f] and [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] are such sweet nicknames.
I don’t love [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] because it sounds like a flower from [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. And though [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is sweet I think [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] on a girl is so trendy, especially compared to your other kids names. But that’s really just nitpicking. You can’t go wrong with any of your options. Good luck!
