The other day I was thinking about the meanings of my name combos. I love the meaning of names and some of the meanings go together. I’ll show you what I mean

[name_f]Ashlyn[/name_f] [name_f]Marina[/name_f]- a dream from the sea/ mermaid
[name_f]Alana[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]- clear harmony

I didn’t really consider the name meaning as a combo when naming my son’s, there were just too few names that I actually liked enough to use, especially when the ones vetoed by my partner were knocked out of contention! I do really love the concept, and appreciate when a combination has a wonderful meaning as well as looking good on paper as well as being spoken out loud. I think its a tricky balancing act though!
Funnily enough, my own name combination meaning works quite well:
[name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] “Pure”, [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] “[name_m]Light[/name_m]”
