i have stumbled upon the name [name_f]Kiyoko[/name_f] and i like the meaning of it and i kind of love it… now i don’t have any Japanese relation or special connection, is it still okay to use [name_f]Kiyoko[/name_f] as a middle name or not?
nb: i’m not expecting just working on combos which it would be [name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Kiyoko[/name_f]
i like the sound and that it means rejoice child paired with [name_u]Reese[/name_u] it will be fiery rejoice child. i like it paired with a softer sounding [name_u]Reese[/name_u] and the harder sounding [name_f]Kiyoko[/name_f] but it is elegent and warm and strong all at the same time
Hello there. First of all, [name_u]Reese[/name_u] is a lovely name and if my brother was not named “[name_u]Rhys[/name_u]”, I would totally consider it for a baby girl. In fact, [name_u]Reese[/name_u] is on my middle name list for a baby girl to honour my brother, so I am indeed very fond of the name … Second of all, if you like the name [name_f]Kiyoko[/name_f], I would not worry about not having any Japanese connection or relation as many people like names from different cultures and in the modern world, they still work as the name you choose for your son or daughter completely and utterly becomes them. [name_f]Kiyoko[/name_f] is not necessarily a name that I would choose for my own child, but having different taste in names from on another is completely fine. If you love the name that much, you should use it, because I guarantee you will only come to regret not using it! Names are so diverse in the modern age and it is not unusual to have an unusual / multicultural name
I like [name_f]Kiyoko[/name_f], though it does make me think of [name_f]Hayley[/name_f] [name_f]Kiyoko[/name_f] right away. I think people would probably find it a bit odd, but if you love it so much it’d be fine as it’s only a middle name.
Some names tht sound sort of similiar are:
[name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Kaia[/name_f]
[name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Kiki[/name_f]
[name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Katya[/name_f]
[name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Kitty[/name_f]
[name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]

[name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Katelyn[/name_f]

You’re not expecting, which I’m assuming means you’re just playing around with names? If so, I think it’s totally fine to keep [name_f]Kiyoko[/name_f] on your list.
I think I would tread carefully because randomly using things from a culture you don’t have a connection to is not ok, especially when you don’t know or understand the naming conventions. There are literally thousands of names that are wonderful for you to use, there isn’t a reason for you to take from something you admit you don’t have a connection or claim to.
