We are expecting our second child and don’t yet know gender.
Our daughter is named [name]Brooklyn[/name] – a name we picked out 10 years ago before it got super popular:). She is 4 now.
My husband loves the name [name]Kenna[/name] for a girl and [name]Landis[/name] for a girl or boy. [name]Kenna[/name], just because. [name]Landis[/name] because it is the name of the street we were vacationing on when baby was conceived – and he likes the fact that it’s unusual.
I don’t hate either name, but I’m also not in love with them as I was and am with [name]Brooklyn[/name].
Thoughts on the names [name]Kenna[/name] and [name]Landis[/name]?
And ideas of names like them? I find I’m drawn to names with an -en ending sound (no surprise with a [name]Brooklyn[/name] as our first:), but my husband wants to stay away from that, so it’s not too rhyme-y with our daughter’s name, and because those names are so popular right now.
