Name for 4 month baby in Short Story

So, the baby girl has a full head of dark hair and large blue eyes–she is an easy-going baby (as much as babies at this age are)who is born in [name]August[/name] and is a Virgo. The mom calls her ‘Blueberry’ or ‘blubear’ as a nickname definitely not her name. Not that I’m against it but it doesn’t go with the more traditional father who likes romantic names like–[name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Isabella[/name], [name]Gwendolyn[/name], [name]Guinevere[/name], [name]Catalina[/name], etc. The mom is more open to many names.
Here are some considerations
[name]Ballou[/name] (not traditional)
[name]November[/name] (a bit long?-- and she’s born in [name]August[/name] which won’t be changed)
[name]Mae[/name] (too short not enough bounce)
[name]Ruby[/name], [name]Pippa[/name], [name]Piper[/name] (too much bounce)
[name]Brier[/name] (prickly?)
[name]Pearl[/name], [name]Pierette[/name]
[name]Bunny[/name] (too sweet)
[name]Bruna[/name], [name]Beatrice[/name] (not enough sweetness?)

    • So, I have taken out all [name]El[/name]-names and [name]Mel[/name]-names from consideration.
Something that is perhaps smooth with a bounce in sound like [name]November[/name].
The story is current, more of a family drama-edy–the baby is a supporting character not too prominent.

What do you think? Your feedback is much appreciated.

[name]Ballou[/name] - I think that this name could work! It’s unusual, and Blubear and Blueberry could work as good nn’ s.
[name]November[/name] - I don’t think the length matters…but with your description I don’t think it fits.
[name]Mae[/name] - [name]Mae[/name] is the southern woman who sits on her porch all day…not a good choice for a non-rural setting.
[name]Brier[/name] - My second favorite! I can picture a modern-day baby with this name perfectly.
[name]Pearl[/name], [name]Pierette[/name] - [name]Pearl[/name], maybe. [name]Pierette[/name], definitely not.
[name]Bunny[/name] - Cute, but I agree that it’s a little too sweet.
[name]Bruna[/name], [name]Beatrice[/name] - I actually think that they are both very sweet! Especially [name]Bruna[/name].

I’ll put my top three…

1 [name]Bruna[/name]
2 [name]Ballou[/name]
3 [name]Brier[/name]

[name]Maya[/name] came to mind, mostly because I knew a baby [name]Maya[/name] who had dark hair, large obviously blue eyes, and very clear pale skin.
I love the Blueberry/Blubear nickname. [name]Love[/name] it.

I think [name]Isabella[/name] is a perfect idea as well! [name]November[/name] on a Virgo just feels wrong to me. lol.
[name]Brier[/name] is nice as well, I prefer [name]Briar[/name] though.

I think [name]December[/name] would’ve been cute, if she was a [name]December[/name] baby. But she’s not so.

Ideas:
[name]Bonnie[/name]
[name]Aubrey[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name]
[name]Cassandra[/name]
[name]Alexandra[/name]
[name]Olivia[/name]
[name]Deanna[/name]
[name]Samara[/name]
[name]Selah[/name]
[name]Selena[/name]

from your list i like [name]Piper[/name] but i prefer the spelling [name]Briar[/name] rather than [name]Brier[/name]

What about [name]Poppy[/name] for a really little girl? It’s not a very grown-up sounding name, which is why it might be okay for a little baby. It’s not VERY romantic but I think it sort of fits into that category. If she is playful and easygoing, then I think [name]Poppy[/name] would really fit her personality.

Thanks for the all your input. It was tremendously helpful.
I narrowed it down to: (no particular order)
[name]Bruna[/name] (I knew a grown [name]Bruno[/name] who was not cute at all; but [name]Bruna[/name] has grown on me in it’s own right)
[name]Brier[/name] (I normally like the other spelling too, it just doesn’t work in this circumstance)
[name]Bonnie[/name] (very cute- [name]Bonnie[/name] [name]Bear[/name])
[name]Poppy[/name] (lively-definitely a happy baby name)
[name]Isabella[/name] (traditional and romantic)
[name]Ballou[/name] (one of my personal favorites)

I finally have decided on [name]Bruna[/name] [name]Bella[/name] b/c it is traditional but not common that both parents are covered.

Thanks Again!! LLR
